map with a managablr number of creeps. All in all, I enjoyed this map. And if you\'re wondering about the name of the map, a caldera is a crater caused by a volcanic explosion, like one you might find at the peak of an extinct volcano. ...Like at the centre of this map.

The map also includes: - Outstanding art and detail over most standard custom maps - A large number of \"Creeps\" with many high level items to be obtained. - 3 Gold mines per base. - All of the Mecenary Camps and Extra shops in Warcraft 3. - As an added bonus, the middle of the map has a few hotspots that have a very large number of high level \"Creeps\". - There is also a \"Jail\" with a gate to be broken into. Inside the gate are a ton of low level enemies to help build up experience. The map was designed to play about the same pace as the original Big Game Hunters from Starcraft. The minerals start to come in fast, but begin to come in at a regular pace to keep you in action by building more units, instead of searching for new gold mines. Trees and forests are plentiful, but are slightly less dense, so you will have to build lumber mills to keep up with getting wood. The map has been tested on Battle.net and keeps the action going at the same pace as Starcraft. By the way, I\'m an artist, so I took full advantage of the new WC3 map editor. Have fun and enjoy!

Which means, there is no real need to expand from your base, there is enough wood and gold within your base to supply you through the entire game. Anyway, also the map has the every popular single choke entry point. But unlike most other mass mineral maps, this one has quite a bit of detail and balance, no one starting location, has advanages over the other. Also, there are several shops around of which to buy anything you could imagine. The number of creeps on this map is rather.. large. This makes the map very much more challenging, and interesting. Players: max of eight, 4vs4, 2vs2vs2vs2, and FFA supported.

lands Lordaeron. When you did, you were unsure wether to be skeptical or terrified. You doubtfully rejected the idea to leave your beloved homeland, and somewhat anxiously stayed. Unsure about making such an important, significant decision, destiny helped you decide. The capital city of Lordaeron, which is also called Lordaeron, fell to the fetid hands of the vile Undead Scourge. When you heard what happened to King Terenas, you felt extremely alarmed and terrorized. You hastily returned to your humble village to try to convince your family to leave. Alas, when you arrived there, you were greeted by abominable, almost fleshless creatures. Your village was plundered, and its' denizens, including your parents and siblings, were massacred mercilessly and reanimated as mindless servants of Undead Scourge, the devourer of their own life and land. Maddened by grief and agony, you desperatly fled to the south of Lordaeron. Many Undead creatures stood in your way, but your weapon, fueled by fury and hunger for revenge, easily cleaved their fleshless bones, despite your inexperience concerning the arts of combat. Finally, suffering from grievous wounds and major exhaustion, you arrived in Drandarm, a town near the coast. Amazingly, even Drandarm is haunted by partisans of the Undead Scourge. One day, until something is done, Drandarm will be devoured by the dark shadow as well. While Undead warriors roam freely across the blighted remains of your ruined homeland, a group of Bandits, intending to profit from the chaotic situation in Drandarm and strip every of its' inhabitants of its' wealth succeeded in plundering a small part of the town…
king the immortality of Achilles. It was located on the island here, and is destined to the king, who was of blue dragon blood. He sent out his best and truest knights out to this location to get the elixor. The spirits of the island do not trust them, and slaughtered them all, except a few who ran away. After a few waves of knights getting continuly slaugtered and fleeing, the king decided to go get it himself. Without anyone else on the island, the king came away with the elixor effortlessly. Quite angered by the knights who fled, he issued mass demerits, since then this place has been known as Demerit Lake. Since the king had perished by stepping on a nail with his heel (that was planted by an assasin), the spirits are once again angered. Note the melted snow around the shore, there is something happening here...
huge amount of lvl 5-10 creeps (mostly 8-10) and then go through the waygate, hope your enemy doesn\'t see you waiting there when they cut the trees down that are blocking your path, and devistate the enemy base. This is NOT for rushers due to amount of time to get to enemy base. You NEED to use waygate because of mission boundary going right down the center. It is wise not to build at the edge because siege weaponry can fire over it.
inventories of all four players. Stronger creeps and difficult-to-access Marketplaces give access to more powerful artifacts. The map has a dramatic centrepiece in the form of a large, spiral mountain, atop which sits a heavily guarded Blue Dragon Roost. You\'ll want an army before you plan to storm the dragons there.

You fight in the Melee style (mass an army etc); with several custom units and skins. -On each continent there are two players who are allied and 2 who are unallied; there is an -ally color and -unally color to ally or unally players; you can only do this with players who are on your continent however. - The main object is to work to take over your continent and either eliminate the other players or force them to ally you; than you should spread your control to the other continent and attempt to defeat the whole other continent. - The Zodiac in this map is a sword created by the Zodiacs (Aries, Pisces etc) who are the gods of this particular world. They made it and infused a large amount of their own power into it; their plan was to use the Sword to cleanse the world of war and bring peace. But the sword was corrupted during its birth and now it has a mind of its own; at the beginning of the map you'll see three of the Zodiacs being killed by their own creation. If you can mass up a big enough army to defeat the Zodiac it is yours to control; just don't let it die :D. This can be a major asset when going to conquer the opposing continent.

CE level, but if you've played Halo: CE you'll spot some differences and liberties I took with the design for the sake of a good RTS map. There are lots of creeps to train on, and enough resources to make a small city. For a team match, the alliances must be Players 1 and 3 vs. Players 2 and 4. Given the size of the map and the terrains, there are many possibilities for multiple bases and attacking your enemy. This is my first map, so feedback would be appreciated. WC3Files is something that definately needs to be experienced to be appreciated. the use of props and the paths between the goldmines will add to your gaming experience! Enjoy some excellent 3v3 coastal action in the good ol\' [i]take the town[/i] scenario. Some paths are better for melee fighters, some are better for ranged fighters. Make your pick, but choose wisely, or you may not live, long enough, to regret it! [i]A bit of background... Originally started as a small outpost, but over time, grew into farmland. Having some spare building materials left over from their shacks, the peasants built a small stage, and some of the better actors became professional. Then the King came by to see a show, and was impressed, and ordered to build a pair of large theaters. It was a happy place to live for a while. Then a new kingdom was formed very nearby to the northeast. The King ordered the Lords and Dukes of this land to stock up on weapons, armor, and fortification materials. The only buildings that were big enough to store all this was the theaters themselves, which meant there was no longer room for a show, and needless to say the peasants were not happy....[/i] Refer to the readme for more information.

the middle of the battle field. It is reasonably well fortified with a wall of heads, and the guards will not be happy to see you, until they put your skull on the wall of shame. Merchants in the city like heros coming in to run their prosperous neutral trade. Work your way along these torn up paths and defeat your enemies. This map is lots of fun, and is well balanced! There is lots of potential for long intense battles and the black dragons are pretty naughty!
owning one. The first player to reach any of the Golbin Shops or Mercenary Camps is granted exclusive ownership. This means no one else can buy anything from them. NOTE: If you attack and claim ownership of something but fail to finish off the creeps, they might end up destroying your new building.
land offers very little cover. As the name implies, the middle of the map is almost completely open, which means claiming an expo in the middle leaves you very vulnerable. This map is ideal for 4vs4, but it is designed so that four teams of 2 will also work. However, this map does not work very well for FFA. Are you still wondering what the meaning of [i]Agoraphobia[/i] is? \"An abnormal fear of open or public places.\"
added: land. Land is precious on this map and every square inch of it matters. The impassable terraced spires of Zephyria present a supreme challenge to those that would aspire to dwell there. Rugged and harsh, the jagged and dangerous spikes of rock and bottomless chasms yield surprising treasures. This is a land ruled by air power, and the Goblin Zeppelin is the most fundamental tool for survival in this scarred land.

mainly, the starting bases are too small and there are too many narrow choke points, however the layout is excellent and you will be surprised at the superior visuals. This is definately a remarkable first attempt at a first map! Good job.

[i]Old quarry path[/i]is a fun map to play, as you may have guessed by the mapname, Mining is the name of the game, other mineral deposits lie hidden among the stones; mainly, gold. intense conflict. Ever wanted to play the classic game of rock paper scissors... melee style? Well, then this is the map for you! The 3 rivers on this map are placed right along side the bases. Travel along the outer arm of the river to the right of your base and you will reach an expansion conveniently located near a goblin ship yard. Using the ships from the goblin ship yard puts you right at two entrances to one of your opponents bases. You can either launch an ambush right in the thick of their base, or you can opt for the sneakier back door approach which allows you to attack them from the rear or hit them at their otherwise, completely unassailable (by ground) expansion. So, in this way, red has the drop on blue who has the drop on teal who has the drop on... well, you get the idea: rock paper scissors style melee.

forgotten in the wastes... This is a 2 player Melee map featuring several medium sized islands separated by the Twisting Nether but connected by bridges. Each player starts with immediate access to a single gold mine, but on each player\'s respective island there are an additional 3 goldmines. There are more goldmines elsewhere on the map, but these are guarded by creeps, of which there are many, including Demons, Fel Orcs, and the Broken Draenei minions of the Legion, all varying in difficulty. This map also features a smattering of Marketplaces, a single Tavern, a few Goblin Workshops to make movement easier, and a single Fountain of Health in the middle, guarded by a group of very strong Demon creeps. Tactically, this map is quite different to most other melee maps I\'ve played. You start on an island with lots of creeps, a marketplace and a good few Goldmines. However, you cannot immediately expand as you are blocked either by a single group of very strong creeps or by multiple groups of weaker creeps. While one player has an easier time getting out and beyond their island, that player at the same time has less access to the center where all the goodies lie. There is an extensive number of creeps that, if not careful, will attack your base from the outset. Good luck!

Your Ears. I am also making a complete gameplay converison for WC3 that will include new units and existing WC3 units, in Myth: The Fallen Lords gameplay. This mod will be called Myth Converisons, the first map in Myth Converison, will be of course, The Desert Between Your Ears. But it will be different from this WC3 standard multiplayer verison. I will be releasing it soon, but until then, I figured I'd release a standard map for people to play, get an idea of what the map will look like. The MC verison, will be quite different than this standard verison, but overall it will be the same landscape wise. Just varying will be some cliffs, hills, trees, and of course, no creeps, and gold mines. Size: Small Players: 4 max, 2v2 and FFA supported.
your other opponent on the other side of you too, so you could either hack away the tress/AoE hero spell them etc, or leave them there as a barrier... either way you're all going to need to chop trees one way other the other ^^. I also added trees at the tops and bottoms so that you can get lumber without running into each other, the people who are separated by trees.
