judge for yourself!
to speed up the gameplay. The environment is very lush and green. Ammo and other goodies are spread throughout the level. I think this is my most gameplay-intensive level, defintely not a run-and-gun level.
Not much to add, beside: Great job dude :D
players at least. Vehicles are far and few on this map, so if you get a hold of one, make good use of it :) Overall - 6 10
and all you can do is throw grenades over the "net" at each other. You can't go onto the other side, and you can't go outside of the tennis court.. There are far too many trees outside the tennis court using up drive space. Overall i would say to pass on this map. Even though some may find throwing grenades at each other entertaining, i personally think it would be better with at least a pistol.
map is for you! Run your buggie down the center of the map over the bridge and some ramps [catch some air!] to get to the opposing sides' base or take the sneaky approach and use the side paths to get some close-quarters action in. What started out as a quick-and-dirty sniper map evolved into a fairly detailed sniper and vehicle map. Most of the weapons are available and wherever you see something that looks important, for example: a Sniper Tower, structure, etc there will be some powerups there (weapons, ammo, health or armor.) Each side has a unique base. Red has the crane, raised helipad and cargo boxes while Blue has the oil storage base, raised and lowered helipads. There is a dried up lake in the middle of the map where the wooden bridge lies with some goodies underneath it. If you look around a little to the sides of the map you're sure to find some interesting caches of weapons and vehicles. Refer to the readme for more information.
bead on you! There are alot of vantage points, and some great Jungle-cover for you to 'scope' out the other team, but, as with other sniper maps, it's only fun with a large number of players.
and picking people off from a distance or some close quarters shotgunning around the structures and buildings.
work...but be careful, you\'re not the only one shot-one kill player out there!
don\'t have the time for a large map... Then this download is for you. This is a smaller map, good for eight players and some fast and fierce fighting! Will you make it to the end?
looks to be an awesome map with lots of potential for both close-up combat, and the long distance kill shot. There is something in this map for every gamer weather it's facing the odds on the bridge, fighting it out on the sand, taking your chances on the water, or staring through a scope!
set on a small circular island. I wasn\'t shooting for anything really special, just a simple sniper TDM map. This map is actually something that spawned out of frustration from another map I\'m working on.
will you or your team last? Who will be victorious?
ureleased map SP_Tropix; The multiplayer version has the same lush foliage which will provide much needed cover from the ensuing action that is sure to take place! Both teams will spawn on either end of the cresent shaped island, and you will be happy to know that most weapons are available for the taking...along with some boats, just in case you want to get into the action as soon as possible; There are also some structures around the island, which would make for some great ambush locations. Refer to the readme for more information.
play that you see in the Single Player version...such as: buttons to push, elevators to get to the higher spots, etc. I\'m guessing that this map will be a huge success, and I hope to see it on the servers!
frag-fests...or snowball fights. lol This is a preview map (hence, the version) and not the finished product; Be on the look out for it when it is released!
mp_radio, only at night. I found the darkness to be a little overwhelming at first, but that was nothing a little Gamma adjustment couldn\'t fix.
on Snipervalley, and Capt. Amerika tells me he is working on more maps...this is great news, and I look forward to playing them when they are released! An important note about this map, is that it is intended for mid to highend machines; If yours falls short of this, you may need to reduce the settings, etc and sacrifice eye candy for plaability.
This is a Farcry Multiplayer TDM map. It has two levels of play. The lower is where players spawn. They are on opposite sides of the map. The upper level is more involved with cover and weapons and structures. I tried to incorporate all styles of play. This map is my sole creation and is very unique. Get some!
See the readme for more information on this map including installation and important information, etc. Enjoy.
functional and serves a purpose...and brings out the talent.
biggest and most notable being the performance issues, this has been dealt with in this version along with other minor improvements. With these fixes made, this map now more sniper friendly...so grab your scope and lets go! See the readme for the changelog.
participants will be doing their fight for survival at a cliff side waterfall; There are several ways in and around the water, as there are a number of stairs and catwalks...keep in mind that once you're on one of these, you'll stand out like a sore thumb, and the chances of you ending up inside a sniper's crosshairs are great! Waterfall (v1.1) will offer a little something for everyone, no matter what your tactics of choice are, although, if you can find a nice secluded nest, the sniper may have the most fun! If you need to find a safe place from a sniper...or maybe things are getting to hectic, and you need a bit of a break to collect your thoughts and devise a new plan, then you will want to make your way to the tunnel; Beware though, it may not be any safer in there then it is outside. Good luck and happy shooting!
cruise around while you're doing drive-bys, the buggy's have working lights, so you'll be able to see the white's of their eyes before you run them over! The water is a good place to play, although, it may be hard to hit anything on shore...if you can't see it. If you're into sniping...the fact that it's night-time will offer you pretty good cover, and theres always the buildings and trees, if you don't like the wide open space of the beach...
running more than shooting. The tree's and bushes can get repetitive at times... But it can get to be a fun map.. Make sure not to get your boats stuck in the shallow water, that's a problem i had. Overall 6 / 10
