some tweaking done to the hardpoints. I tried to take on (4) Valdore Warbirds with My Akira and (2) Defiant Classes as escort. The outcome was shocking! The Valdore Warbird will humiliate you on the battlefield in ways you can't imagine. I barely made it back to Earth with one nacelle for my troubles. So download this ship and gather all tactical info, Your going to need it!
the detailed warp nacelles and decals. This mod also comes with custom hardpoints. Sounds and weapons. The Hardpoints utilize the new running lights from the NanoFX2 Beta mod. This Mod is a must have for your Romulan Inventory. So get rid of that "stock" Warbird, This is a definite keeper!
was impressed with her Hardpoints, nicely done. And the highlighting on her dorsal wings were noticable as well. She's a bit slow on impulse speed and maneuverability. But she more than makes up for that in sheer fire power and resilience. I attacked the "Battlebird" with (5) Federation Ships, and she gave me a run for the money. Sleek in design with power to match... The Romulan Battlebird is a must have for your Romulan fleet.
steat with the latest version of Dreamyards 1701-B, and the other will bring it up to Mondern level specs for a medium Cruiser. At just a hair over 2000 poly and only 2 textures, this ship is sure to perform well in any system capable of running stock ships. The ship features a multitude of beam weapons in addition to the alternating pulse cannons on the side of the nose as seen in "The Defector" TNG. In battle (the original) it is fairly manuverable, and is a very close match for the Enterprise B. The engines are based on a galor class, slightly toned down, so you will have the extremely close passes that you usualy encounter with the galor. I had several of these in my test games, where I was literaly firing point black with the bow torpedo hitting this thing in less than a second, and phaser glow filling the whole screen. The battles with this are amazing, so get your's today! The modern version is a medium support ship, so compared to a Galaxy it isn't that heavily sheiled, but it's even more manuverable fires more pulse cannons and more-powerful torpedoes.
well detailed. It is a BCMOD format, so one click installation. The readme says that it is about half as powerful as the CG Sovy. I tested this on both sides of the line and found that the Warbird is about right on the balance. I played as one Norexan on a team of 3 and as the Sovy against the 3 Norexans. It went as you might expect. Both times, the Norexans lost one, almost 2 of theirs and CG Sovy went up in a bright flash. I love the disruptors, and sound quality is excellent. A little advice is to play with NanoFX 2 on because the explosions bouncing around with all those disruptors really helps make this mod fun to play. It's a permanent addition to my Romulan fleet. Try it yourself. Edit: I just added 3 more pics. I guess the one provided was a little bit hard to go on. Hope these new ones help.
projectile and sound, so you guys have to rate this one.
vessel with nothing more than a powerful torpedo, this vessel is a quick attack cruiser. It is armed with strong standard romulan torpedoes, and pulse canons both fore and aft. It was sized roughly between an akira and streamrunner and works well as a cruiser. It has to separate models which can be installed for 2 different texture styles.
show those Feds and Klingons the Romulan Empire is a force to be reckoned with.
version that last appeared in the DS9 episode \"The die is cast\", when the Tal Shiar and the Obsidian Order were ambushed and destroyed by the Jem\' Hadar in the battle of the Omarion nebula. And finally the most advanced version, seen during the last months of the Dominion War. All ships have pulse disruptors that fire from various locations around the hull and disruptor beams and plasma torpedos that fire from the \"hole\" on the nose. The newer the ship, the stronger it is (hull, subsystems, shields) and more efficient (maneuverabilitty, reload times) but all are balanced against the Galaxy Class, its closest nemesis. Victory will favor the bold.
leave them without torpedos would make them weak compared to other similar ships, so I added a few shots. Enjoy.
the lines of a TNG era surveillance scout. She is quick on the strafing runs, and have excellent firing arcs. I had a blast putting her through a rigorous shakedown. Check her out...
in 3 variants, each using the large forward weapons in different ways. You can install all 3 at once, they add separately. 1 variant, the standard one, will give you pulse cannons. The other 2 gives you either heavy disruptor, and extra torpedo launchers (HD for heavy disruptors and TD, for Torpedo Deluxe, respectively). Now go and make the Tal'Shiar proud.
handels well in game, excellent firing arcs. And she has all the usual "Romulan" refinements. I did notice the ship's A.I. likes to make use of the Cloaking Device if it has the upper hand during an engagement. An this ship will engage you, without going threw too many evasive maneuvers. So get ready for a brutal "one on one" encounter. This is a Definate Keeper...
on the aft quarter but the ship is quick enough on her turns to get out of trouble. Highly recommended. Please read and abide the readme carefully.
gargantuan (and expensive to mantain) D\'Deridex class. One of them would become what we now know as the Valdore. This is the other...the romulan D\'Deridex Mk2. Smaller, faster, more powerful than it\'s predecessor, the newest flagship of the Empire.
specs, as well as adding an extra torpedo ready to the foreward tube. It features armored plates, the only bop to have them, and heavier shielding, but is slightly slower than the smaller Vdan and Dvethex variants.
encountered the USS Kelvin.
bad, depending on how many original ships you have left. Ofcourse, you can allways kill the pesky kessok in quick battle :)
to the outpost\'s distress call, but was also lost in the battle. This course of action was considered as an act of honor by the Klingon Empire, which led to the signing of a new peace treaty. The Romulan Melak cruiser is the predecessor to the vaunted D\'deridex class warbirds of the later century. It sports the latest in Romulan weapons and technology and is a formidable opponent in battle.
style shuttle bay in the rear of the ship. I tried battling a churchill and a enterprise B, but both killed me easily, and a 1701-A was fairly dificult but doable. The ship is armed with a pair of pulse canons, fore and aft torpedos, and a single foreward beam weapon. All which fire slow. My only question is why the torpedos or pulse canons don't seem to line up with what appear to be the launchers. Also, the ship has far too many windows, some of which wrap over angled parts of the hull.
one. Also has the high power fwd beam weapon commonly seen in Startrek armada mods.
and 2 side defensive beam weapons. Since romulans usualy operate in packs, or atleast pairs, it can afford to go without aft weaponry and heavy armor. Couple this with a Winged Defender or two and Enjoy the carnage. Note that some of the pix make the ship appear blue, this is due to lighting on the map, not the ship. The ship is bright green.
Romulan Quantum torpedos and her disruptor firing arc are worthy of being Romulan. The Vahhrer delivers time on target accuracy everytime. This ship is a must have for your Romulan Fleet. Worth having a look at....
ship. It has 6 impulse engines, high acceleration and good manuverability.
Cruisers from the TNG Era with ease taking some damage. The Pvor is capable of matching for speed and manuverability all but the fastest of the Federation starships, it has strong shielding but lacks strong armour. The Pvor is armed with one dual plasma torpedo launcher, two heavy disruptors, five medium disruptors, and four light disruptors. These weapons can make short work of most shielding of a Galaxy Class relatively quickly (but watch out for the torpedoes). Using cloaking attacks this ship can destroy even larger vessels more quickly but watch out for the quantum torpedoes (or similar) as those will give the ship damage. This ship is highly recommended for those that want to see more Romulan Ships in the game.
and above of the TNG Period. An Alpha strike with this ship can easily do heavy damage to most ships including the Galaxy Class starship. If you use the hit and run attack via cloaking you will be able to easily take out more powerful ships. This ship has been well made and is highly detailed. Highly recommended for those that want to see more Romulan ships in game.
a punch for it\'s size, but wont stand up to larger ships. Best used in pairs or squads.
vaporize federation outposts buried deep inside asteroids.
sporting (4) nacelles. She handels well in game, and I found her Hardpoints to be balanced. This mod is also a self extracting .exe file. so all the guess work is done for you. This will make an excellent addition to your Romulan inventory. Defiantley worth taking a look at.
advanced version too, like the Klingons did. This features some really excellent sfx from the cool sounding disruptor pulses to the very Romulan sounding engines. The ship itself is brilliantly balanced to the TMP era, as a connie is roughly on equal terms to this. A truly magnificent file - dont miss out!
device.. This ship is balanced for the TOS era. So don't expect to use a ship from the TNG era against her. I tested this ship against a TOS Constitution Class, and the results were 'painful'. Definately Worth having a look at..
It provides a barrage of assault weapons that would blast a Sovereign Class in half, kill a Prometheus in 15 seconds, and likely lay waste to DS9 on a single pass. 43200 damage point pulse cannons and a barrage of 24 torpedoes and tractor beams in every arc make this vessel the most lethal ever built. Second only to the Borg. This vessel doesn't turn very fast, in fact it is very slow. But maneuver in front and you are dead. Take her for a cruise and destroy enemy bases at will. 50000 hull points and 30000 shields....
the Galaxy but would win some if you have some good tactics. This ship is armed with 1 Dual torpedo tube which can fire multiple torpedoes at a time, as well as several quick firing disruptors that can cause moderate to heavy damage depending on where they hit. This ship can be very powerful if used in the right way (i.e. hit and run cloak attacks). This ship is highly detailed and very well made, and recommended to those that would like to see more romulans in Bridge Commander.
Galor. The missing torpedo file is included in a folder with instructions on where to put it. This mod is also in BCMI format.
a large ammount of ships for the romulan star empire. These ships are taken from other star trek games and some are new design, or designs inspired from other star trek mods. Ofcourse canon designs are also included. The designs taken from older star trek games (Armada 2 and SFC3) are touched up and alterd to fit within star trek bridge commander and match the quality of all the other ships in the mod.
agility. Download this patch as well http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/WingedDefender_Patch;32735 It's only a 4k hp.
larger than the standard Warbird, it has weapons to match it\'s size, consisting of an impressive array of disruptors, forward disruptor beams and a large arsenal of torpedoes. Although a dreadnaught, it does have some bad blind-spots - as the port, starboard, ventral and dorsal sides sport no weapons at all, but it makes up for this with a medium turn speed allowing you to get out of trouble.
Plasma Torpedo (Thanks to Strayhero for the name :D ): This particular torpedo was made jointly by the Federation and the Romulan Star Empire mainly as an anti-Borg weapon of high speed, accuracy, and destructive power.\" nice ships, YES there are 2 ships in this setup.
Defiant class although not as powerfully armed, although this ship does have stronger armour and shields. In a straight fight it is more than likely that the defiant would win due to its weapons, but if you hit and run using the cloaking device you have a chance. This ship would be more useful as an escort ship. This ship is highly detailed and very well made, and recommended for those that want to see Romulan ships in bridge commander.
some of the newer ships including the CG Sovereign and several others. The weapons are well placed and this is a reccommended mod for any one who is interested. Note: This will replace the hardpoint for the stock or other \"replacement\" hardpoint.
future upgrades so it will continue to be a convoy escort for some years to come.
punishment. This ship can do a lot of damage to larger vessels such as the less manuverable galaxy and warbird (Scotchy\'s and C2Extreme). The ship has Two main phaser beams, one fore and one aft. There are also several forward distruptor pulse cannons, as well as torpedo tubes, there are more weapons than a standard defiant class ship, making this ship more powerful that the defiant. Though with skill (or more than one ship), this ship can be taken down. Highly recommended download, though the readme shows Starfleet Command III install instructions. ***To Install*** Unzip into a Temporary Folder, then move the data, scripts and sfx folders to your bridge commander directory, you do not need to use Mod Packager to add the ship to Bridge Commander as this already comes with the needed files to add this ship :)
incorporates technology and weaponry from the Scimitar program. Multiple pulse disruptor cannons and photon torpedo launchers make her quite formidable in battle.
Blinkers to function (and of course MVAM Infinite for the Wareagle launching)
use by the Romulan Star Empire under the terms of a brief alliance between the two powers in 2268. A slightly heavier cruiser, the Hlai mounts two plasma mortars and many blast beams. This cruiser version was a point of great pride in the Romulan fleet, and it - like the Hlai Bird of Prey - were among the first ships to receive an upgrade to medium disruptor technologies once those became widely available. The RES Sculex detroyed the U.S.S. Cochrane (Oberth class), a suspected test-bed vessel for a Federation cloaking device, which greatly increased tensions between the two powers and ultimately lead to the Federation-Romulan war of 2311 (The Tomed Incident). Altough the ship has a TOS appearance, it received countless upgrades during the years - its balanced to be on par with TMP and The Lost Era ships. She can take on a Connie and even on an Excelsior, if played right. Taking full advantage of the cloaking device and close range fire she can even take down an Ambassador class. If you install the FTA v2 mod, the plasma torpedo will do more damage the closer you are to the target.
some form of refit TOS BOP or Upgraded D7. Slow but manuverable, these make great secondary ships and pack fighters. Get your command now, before the Romulan Senate votes these relics off the space lanes.
patrols where the use of a Warbird is not required, this ship is powerful for its size and is more than a match for most things of similar size. However the Talon will struggle against such ships as the Defiant Class and anything above the cruiser level of ships.
only let down by the fact that this thing over-steers worse than an oiltanker with a drunken crew - however it\'s still fun to ride round in.
accordingly, see the readme for more details.
strong in a fire fight, as you can see from the pictures not a bad detailed ship. thanks goto Mleo and also to Starforce2 I think this maybe from aramada (correct me if I'm wrong)
better, and the shape on the carrier is a bit odd. Rate away!
more likely win because of its quantum torpedoes and hull armour. Desciption from Readme
This ship is an escort vessel similar to the Defiant. Infact, the Federation believes this ship is a direct result of the Defiant and it's success in the dominion war. The ship is fast and decently manuverable, though it's larger size makes it somewhat less manuverable, it was required for the core capable of producing power for weapons and cloaking systems. This ship is well shielded, though lightly armored, and specifcly in the foreward shield for attack runs. The Defiant would likely have the advantage due to more powerful quantums and hull armor. In service at the time of the Scimitar battle: 12, numbers increasing.
in high and low res. To download the firehawk model if you haven't already (shame on you!!) go here: http://www.bridgecommanderfiles.com/file.info?ID=12384
located forward consisting of a huge barrage of disruptor pulses, torpedos and a disruptor beam, however it has only 2 other disruptor beams mounted port & starboard and one torpedo launcher aft. This requires NanoFX2 for the blinkers to work properly.
sprinkle them in with your larger ships as annoying support vessels.
need anything else because I'm just so d*mn good :D that this conversion matches exactly to the last one so every single hardpoint is correct. Find the vdan model folder in data/models/ships and overwrite the old one with this one, then delete your vox file. I will release a full version for those who have not downloaded the vdan yet so those people don't need to download 2 items and screw around.
texture variation and they share the same hardpoint file. The hardpoint itself is virtualy identical to the Klingon bird of prey and suits this type of vessel quite well. Ignore the installation instructions in the readme as they havent been changed from the SFC one. Install via BCMP.
forward torpedo tube that can fire 4 torpedoes at once before reloading, as well as 4 pulse cannons that can fire several shots at a time. This ship can easily destroy a Klingon D7, as well as Dominion fighters, a Sabre class and against a Cardassian Galor. The Ddmad should be able to talke on TNG Cruiser level ships while taking damage, it may struggle against ships more powerful than this however.

engines and other equipment. It has 4 nacelled giving it long range at high warp speed, enabling it to respond to boarder conflicts quickly. It is armed with an impressive packing of weapons, including a bank of 4 torpedo tubes, 4 heavy pulse cannon, and a fwd disruptor. It's protected from the rear fairly well, a torpedo launcher,2 medium and 1 heavy pulse cannon. It makes a great base assult ship. It's defensive arcs include another 12 disruptors, so this ship is going to make the enemy feel some pain just by itself. Add to it the escorting vessels it's almost gaurenteed to have in a large battle and you can kiss your new starbase goodbye. This class of ship would survive well past the TMP era, entering the Enterprise-C era as a dreadnought, replaced as battleship by the class C warbird, the King Condor, and Rivaled only by the B Warbird in the years between. At 480m, this ship was also larger than the federation excelcior class and it's refit. It was also just as fast. A single Excelcior is no match for this vessel.
pulse distruptor cannons. This ship also includes 1 forward firing Plasma Torpedo Tube that can fire twice a time. This ship is no match for the constitution class, although if you use the cloaking device you might be able to do minor damage to its hull. However in Numbers this ship can easily take down many TMP Vessels. Overal this is a detailed ship, although not very powerful when compared to the Constitution Class Starship. This ship is highly recommended for those that want to try out the Cloak and Dagger part of this ship or at least recreated the Balance of Terror TOS episode with TMP ships.
against anything more powerful. This ship struggled against p81's Miranda, and Queball's Sabre class, although i tested these with two Ai ships (while cloaked). The Ship is detailed although there is one point that i should mention is that it has phasers rather than distruptors, though that would be a minor nitpick since this mod has been very well hardpointed.
seen on screen thoughout The Next Generation. The model, textures and hardpoints are designed to faithfully recreate the Warbird; and also includes a few extra details that the original model\'s designers wanted to include.
and 512x512. You will need to rename the textures to match what I named them when I converted it or they will not work. These came from the defunct unione modpack 5 and 6.
difference is 5 textures.
productions Tagor Morlattaalso has two forward firing Plasma Torpedo Tubes with both Standard and Heavy Plasma Torpedoes. This ship also features a cloaking device which is useful for those cloaking attacks that Romulans are more known for. Overall this ship can easily take out a Constitution Class Starship and is more or less a match for the Excelsior Class, although it can probably destroy an Excelsior using Cloak attacks. Firing two torpeodes at once is capable of potentially giving a ship heavy damage. This ship is highly recommended for those that like attacking from the Romulans point of view. Using its speed and engines spread out this ship can be leathal when used correctly. The only real difference between this and the Tagor Talla is this one is red, and the other one is green.

is a heavy disruptor on the nose, a pair of strong pulse cannons, and a pair of 2 shot torpedo tubes. The vessel shows a little resemblence to the older brightone class escort, and is believed to be a decendent of the same program. This vessel is often seen escorting convoys, and does well as a pack assault ship. It is also armed with tractors, making it a good raiding vessel.
battleship. The only empire with a comparable vessel was probably the Klingons, and the Andomedans. This vessel has a multitude of wide arc disruptors, with a heavy beam in front. A fearsome 8 torpedo barage in both directions, combined with pulse cannons, allowed this ship to blast through heavily shielded vessels and space stations alike. This vessel has armored wings, with it's main systems in the protected interior, makeing it even more dificult for enemy agressors to cause serious damage to the vessel.
ship Happy New Year
based technology and drab D7 hulls. The vessel has 4 nacelles, unusual for a ship this small, allowing it to travel long distances by alternating nacelles or as a backup if one should fail. Although the ship is smaller than the Excelcior class by a significant margin of over 80m, it is roughly equil in offensive power, and is more agile and faster at impulse. It features a torpedo launcher at each end, fwd disruptor pulse weapons and a heavy beam plus multiple defensive disruptors covering the sides and rear. The traditional feathering found on most romulan warships remains. Additional chnages since the last version icnlude a reballance, the mass and damage valuses fixed, and the impulse drive is now green. Also, some arcs were tweaked. As with all romulans, they each now have their own torpedo and pulse scripts so you can customise them without overwriting and changing the entire fleet.
nacelle as well as, extra pulse cannons, extra beam disruptors and an upgraded power system. It's shields are actualy slightly less powerfull than the Firehawk class, and the ship itself is 25m shorter, so it is considered a pocket DN, rather than a true DN. It's design push came from a single senator, who used it as his flagship during trials, and when the class upgrades were officlly ordered, it was refered to as the Senator class. The class would be upgraded in later era's as well, though the actual act of refitting the Sparrow class to DN would cease after a short time, and only a handful survived the dominion war. This ship is fairly well armed for such a role. This ship is armed with Nine Disruptors arranged around the ship for full coverage, as well as a heavy disruptor, four forward pulse cannons, two aft pulse cannons as well as forward and aft torpedo launchers. This ship is fairly powerful for its era, although will struggle against something from the TNG era and beyond.
quick from the author. Besides the bright lights, not a bad addition to your TOS era selection... Some people will know how to fix the glowing problem themselves of course, so i still reccommend it if you\'re a TOS junkie :D
It lacks the extra nacelles which actualy interfear with the firehawks weapons arcs, giving the ship a clear shot and the Romulans the ability to add more weapons placements. Increased torpedo firepower combined with extra disruptor arcs make this ship worthy of the Condor name. The extra weapons come in the form of fwd quarter defense beams, both above and below the plane of the ship. In addition to that, aft pulse weapons were mounted inside hatches in the stern, and a set of heavy pulse weapons on the wing line. It's one feature that is probably against it, only a single impulse engine.
was added to the design. Instead, nacelle mounted pulse cannons were added, and ahead of it's time, we also find impulse propulsion integrated into the nacelles, a feature rarely seen again untill the Klingon BOP and D class Romulan Warbird. A classic Orange bird can be found on the underside of this class.
large cargo pods on the under side. It\'s armed with pulse weapons, torpedoes and a number of beam weapons.
so new as the Federation transitioned to it's new phaserbank technology. The most significat upgrade was propulsion. New more efficient and more powerfull nacelled were added, eliminating struts all together. Minor readjusting to the weapon arcs was needed due to the shape change for the nacelles. The impulse and fantail was reconfigured, and the rear disruptors were relocated to a slightly different position. A few percent was gained in the impulse speed, acceleration and turn rate. Pulse and defensive arc disruptors recived a small boost, and the the New MrkVII torpedo was delivered. Torpeod loadtimes were improved, and the aft torpedo was replaced with a dual launcher, enabeling 3 vollies of 2 torpedoes instead of 6 singles. It's low profile and barage assult made it a favorable vessel for base assaults, rather than risking the new and more expensive Killerhawk warbirds, codenamed "class B" warbirds by the Federation.
ship its size it does pack a fair punch. This ship is armed with two aft torpedo bays as well as numerous disruptor banks and forward pulse weapons. The Skyhawk has the advantage of speed and manuverability to allow it to make high speed runs on targets, making this a good ship for hit and run raids on targets. This ship has a good weapons coverage making it a good all round vessel to fight in, although it probably won't do so well against heavy cruisers but will give a heavy cruiser such as an excelsior a run for its money. This ship would be best suited for either escorting or hit and run raids, although for the latter if in numbers can probably take down even larger ships such as dreadnoughts or similar. In packs these ships can take down something much larger. In later refit of some of these vessels turned them into a medium cruiser in an effort to replace the Sparrow class medium cruisers that were also being refitted at the time. This resulted in a loss of the 2 aft torpedo tubes and other issues which didn't plague the Skyhawk in it's original form.
middle. There are many differences between this and the light crusier, firstly this ship has a third nacelle, which acts on its own at warp to allow the ship to run on less power under cloak and allowing the ship to run on less power to make the cloak operate more efficently. It was found during trials that the ships internal shielding had not been upgraded enough to shield the larger reactors energy signature at warp, so by using the outer 2 as field stabilizers and driving off the center during cloaked operations it could run at lower power levels. When not cloaked, it will use the standard two engine system. The larger reactor also enabled the ship to have a second heavy disruptor in the rear, and stronger than expected lateral disruptors as well. The ship never reached the excpectations of the sparrow class it was designed to supliment as sparrows were being upgraded to Senator DN's. Eventualy, the refit was dropped after only a few were produced in favour of simply building new Sparrows. This ship is fairly well armed for a light cruiser, although most of its weapons are forward facing and the lack of aft weapons wll show during any battles, which does mean that it is very vunerable when attacked from behind. This ship is more than a match for an miranda class starship or similar, although will struggle against anything more powerful. For fun try this ship against an excelsior class to see if you can beat it.
manuverable and has less protection to the sides and rear. This would make a great assault ship for fleet operations agaist a large target like a Klingon base.
a pair of plasma torpedo launchers in the front, inabling this vessel to enter a military hotzone to transport nessecary supplies. Additionaly, it has 2 large cargo bays in the back. It features the usual feather pattern from the TMP and lost eras.
actualy slightly less powerfull than the Firehawk class, and the ship itself is 25m shorter, so it is considered a pocket DN, rather than a true DN. It's design push came from a single senator, who used it as his flagship during trials, and when the class upgrades were officlly ordered, it was refered to as the Senator class. The class would be upgraded in later era's as well, though the actual act of refitting the Sparrow class to DN would cease after a short time, and only a handfull survive the dominion war. The sparrow class production would continue, however. The lost era version contained in this download gives minor upgrades to various systems, includign a power boost to all disruptors, pulse cannons, and a newer, more powerfull MKVII torpedo. Shields have been upgraded, as well as the addition of hull armor and a noticleable difference in exterior markings. It also seems that the thruster control system has been given a slight tweak, as some enemy commanders have noticed the ships seem to be slighty faster on the turn.
in any way. please do not ask me about or complain to me about the model (just the textures). this ship would work well with basic Bridge Commander, but is a bit of Cannon Fodder with KM. use her wisely.
proportionaly smaller impulse deck as well. The smaller size makes it's core more exposed, making the ship vulnerable to ventral attack, and unlikely to survive a planetary crash in repairable condition. The Bird is armed with a pair of aft torpedo, which the klingon version does not have. It also has 2 defensive disruptor beam weapons covering the aft ventral and dorsal ventral areas.
continued to be in Service. For a short time, a light cruiser was upgraded to fill the spaces left by upgraded sparrows in the medium cruiser department, but they'd never achive the reputation and performance of the Sparrow. The Sparrow was successfull enough to recieve a refit sometime between the Enterprise B and C, pushing it's service further. These ships were often seen on boarder patrol. The ship has excelent fire coverage with it's beam weapons and is manuverable enough to keep out of the main arcs of heavy vessels. It's single large impulse engine was perhaps it's only flaw in that if it was damaged there was no secondary sublight. The Sparrow is an un-bash..meaning a Senator had it's dorsal nacelle and pylons removed to make this "pre-fit" class. Add a backstory and presto, a new ship class de-evolution.
swooping wings with engines on their ends and a feather pattern painted on the bottom. This ship is armed with two forward and two aft disruptors as well as one torpedo launcher both forward and aft. This ship is almost equally armed whether its facing forward or backwards and would be perfect against either small freighters or against larger targets such as battlecruisers when in groups. This ship would also be perfect for escort missions due to its size, manuverability and speed. The Preax would do well against smaller ships including perhaps a Dominion attack ship or something like a Miranda Class or something similar in size, although anything bigger and it would struggle. For fun try this ship against something like a Centaur or similar.
trouble doing enough damage to even bring down a decent cargoship, but at 33m, what do you expect? It is textured in a green and brown pannel pattern that will fit the ship into any era from tmp to tng.
dsruptor which is perfect for attack runs. It has large fins on the dorsal side for atmospheric operations. The fighter is not overly fast, and it's size limits it's operational ranger to areas where a carrier or starbase is. These are not frontline ships, but they can be operated there with resupply along the way. In numbers, they can take down larger ships.
continued to be upgraded. In this case, the fwd quarter beams the Senator has, as well as the rear pulse cannons were added to the Sparrow as well. It does lack the extra set of wing mounted pulse weapons. It featured a noticeable change in exterior markings, extra hull armor, a slight incrase in impulse and thruster performance, and increased power in all of it's disruptor beams. The fwd launcher was converted to make 4 torpedoes ready instead of 3, and given the new MKVII torpedo model.
