the layout is gorgeous, there are some tricky spots to get to that hold high-end items, and the item placement itself is very good. There was obviously a ton of work put into Ragnarok, and in many ways, it shows.
Rrestricted Area is a very fun deathmatch level with plenty of open space and plenty of weapons.
Well, another map from Clawfist - its great, as usual, but this time it has really smooth and nice geometry and an overall great look and feel. It has great textures and lightning - and it just takes your breath away. In the center of the map theres a Shi
Wow! Wow! Wow! 3 words I don't usually write when doing a review. It's a damn shame, couse I like saying it. I know this map is a conversion of a map that appeared in Bungie Software's game Marathon Infinity but I haven't had a such great time playing DM
This is one damned entertaining level by Aaron, and a first effort to boot! Where do I start? You can blow up the bridge (not just once, it refreshes...), there are *tons* of sniping areas, places you can use to block incoming fire, great item placement,
A much improved version of DmResidentEvil. Lighting, texture placement, and much more are fixed or added. Good fragging.
Deathmatch level based on and under surface of giant asteroid.
This is a nice-sized map complete with portals, sliding doors, indoor and outdoor frag areas and a nice layout. Bot work could be improved, but you'll want to play this online anyway with up to 16 players. I liked the outdoor area the best, plenty of oppo
You start off being thrown into a portal, which sends you down a chute. Now its not just a chute, it picks one chute at random to send you down out of six chutes(I think six). Each chute has weapons you are "endowed" with or "bestowed" upon you by the nal
The layout of this map is excellent, lovely connected and awesome geometry, topped with great textures and cool lights. It's big, so you can be many ppl enjoying it at the same time, or simply just let thos bots roam it for a while.
Dark and foreboding, and looking like some sort of processing station during the night watch, this map is a blast to play. Use of lighting to create the 'mood' of the map is excellent, and it feels terribly real as you ran around darkened corridors avoidi
Rather small arena like map, with razorjacks, corner mirrors (Snipe with the razorjacks :)) and one eightball... Try it against bots, you'll get your ass kicked!
big factory', but with a positive ecological message: "It's okay to kill your friends as long as you recycle their bodies afterwards" Level has a working conveyor belt (complete with dropping slime barrels) and also has switchable fans that can be used to
Don't be afraid of the sludge. As a matter of fact, you'll want to explore the items and areas that our old scurge provides in this wonderful level. Funnyman has created a really good one here, with x-y-z plane lift transports, great item placement and fl
DM RIP is your typical dungeon romp. There is nothing really wrong with it, it just isn't very inspired. The dungeon is on the small side so keep the player number around 4 at most. What's good about it is frame rates should rock on just about any system
Return to Ringworld, an Unreal deathmatch level by Indigo Broker.
It's a relatively small deathmatch level loosely based around a wrestling ring.
A large outdoor map, with a river in a gorge.
DmRock, an Unreal deathmatch level by Qualthwar.
DM Rocked is a mid-size map with an underground temple, some passages, and an outside area. The map is spacious with nice looking architecture and lighting. The skybox in the outside area looks really cool but the clouds pan way too fast. The temple area
Simple: this map is a small-"normal" eightball-arena, it got good texturing and lightning (perhaps a bit too dark at some places thou) and the layout is simple, a simple eightball arena for 4-8 persons.
When I got this map, I thought first off, oh yeah, another wonderfull map made in a circle ajoining many different doorways and paths, like every other round level I have seen. uh uh. I had a great time playing this level. The bots have no choice but to r
This is a fun level for 8-16 people. Two floor levels, with lifts, portals and bridges. Very simple, yet very deadly. Lots of opportunities for sniping, plus big floor space areas for massive group fragging.
This map has some really cool layout and geometry. The main room is breathtaking.
I liked this map for a number of reasons. First, it's large enough for 6-8 people, and is really fast-paced when you fill 'er up. Second, there's more than one way to get to where you're going (map designers - this means you can sneak up on someone...). T
This map is really something special, I guess no one does city maps like Rich (if thats good or bad, you judge :) DmRadikus99 looks great, feels great and plays great, it got some new textures that fits in just perfectly and the overall design is excellen

DmReturntoWaldo, an Unreal deathmatch level by Andrew S. Dhabolt.
This is a small map for Unreal with a small rainbow.
Another great map. I am seeing many new authors coming out with great maps lately and I am so happy. This is as fun to play as it is to look at. The bots seemed to do exactly what I needed them to do , so I could pick them off with my Rifle and Flak Canno
This is a fairly large underground tunnel sort of level for 6 to 8 players. Bot support is good and there's some neat traps, like one that dumps you into the lair of a Skaarj Berserker.
This is a small map for Unreal with a small rainbow.
This is Jeff's first map effort, and it's a winner! Great online gameplay, room for 4-8 players, plenty of sniping areas and good item placement make this map a lot of fun. Bot pathnodes could use some work, as the bots don't seem to want to chase you up
DmRing, an Unreal Deathmatch level by an unknown author.
Based on a map named "CityStreetLarge" from the Eagle Watch expansion pack for Rainbow Six
This one is a dark, small, and cramped dungeon. I'm not sure what that has to do with RAM or BIOS though. There's room for about four Bots and you. I had a hard time killing the Bots.
Two large rooms with rotating floors and catwalks. Fun with 6-10 bots. Lots of firepower countered by rotating floor making it hell to hit targets.
A mid-sized DM map that requires you to make choices as to which weapons you will get. If you stockpile, you will be dead quickly!!!
This level includes a number of very interesting lifts and transports, as well as a couple of harder to reach areas that yield items such as the Super Health Pack. Bots are brutal, as they usually are in VerMoorD maps, and you'd better be on your toes as
An icy valley with some buildings and a tower comprise DMReaperloonk. The map looks a lot like DMTundra as evidenced in the screen shot where I'm looking down from a two story tower.
Shoot the Nali statue, you get an earthquake. Reasonably full selection of weapons, room for about 6 players and you have some liberty to snipe.
A small village in an icy valley is the setting for DMRefuge. It looks a hell of a lot like DMTundra, but is much bigger(Tundra Deluxe?). The scenery is pretty nice but the layout is what makes this map cool. Weapon placement is top-notch, you really gott
Small DeathMatch Arena style level. fast and furious. A nice ARENA map with a floor trap for four to six players.
DM Rapid Express is a series of well-lit underground rooms and contains all the basics of an interesting DeathMatch. The architecture, texturing, and lighting are well done. There's a variety of rooms, some teleporters, a cool horizontal elevator, nice it
This is a high speed, high gib level for those who can stand getting toasted often! Their are hidden areas as well as sniper points hidden in the level. The level is baised around a 'reactor' in the center of the room which will kill you if entered.
A fun level in which all the guns are used and there are plenty of hiding places.
UT Deathmatch map
You were sent to a mountain top Resort for some R & R, but all you get is somemore Fragging. There is no rest for a warrior. Find your way from inside the church, to a great sniping position in the bell tower.
Dm-Rigo, an Unreal deathmatch level by Jack "Spinex" Gilson.
Large Wayout Frag fest in the Stars. Quite a unique map.
Well what can I say, this a cool lava-rust-map that got a nice layout, lightning and textures. Lava is not good to swim in though :)
Retake is a small level which places the player on the mission to recapture his/her ship. The ship has been hijacked by aliens and with the crew held hostage, it is up to you to liberate the ship!
So many DM maps focus on things that don't really effect gameplay that it is really refreshing to see one so original. Not a 'King of the Hill' map, but assuredly a teamplay focus. R&R isn't perfect, but the concept is golden.
RunAbout's Revenge!, an Unreal deathmatch level by Jeff Budge.
Deathmatch level based on and under surface of giant asteroid. Outside areas feature craters, low gravity, and field of rolling asteroids overhead. Other areas include crashed alien spacecraft, underground waste treatment facility, surface pressure dome,
Is it just me, or are the maps getting better and better? This stellar effort from Brian Wilson is set on a boat at sea. No problem accidentally falling overboard (invisible rail), but you can still get tossed there from an explosion. Bot noding is extrem
Set in an outdoor area with tall rock pillars, DMRocky is a reasonably good level, although a little small for my tastes, fitting maybe 3-4 players. I kept feeling that I didn't discover something in this map (and this may be true), as I couldn't find a w
This map has been given rave reviews around the net. Check it out for yourself. All I have to say is, I found that the bots are kinda tuff and at times even pissed me off.
If you hate Morbias then forget this. Instead of 1 circular arena with only 8-balls, this is 4 circular arenas with only 8-balls. However, if the sound of burning rocket propellant is music to your ears then grab this quick. The layout and architecture is
DmRoswell, an Unreal deathmatch level by an unknown author.
I looked up Reepadook in the dictionary and it means "some guy obssessed with making 8-ball only maps." This one is great! The architecture is ancient castle style and looks real nice. The layout is what makes this a really good 8-ball map. It's quite a d
DM Rage is a mid-size complex of underground tunnels. Most of the action will take place in the main room(shown) fighting for the Superhealth and the 8-Ball which is in the water. Multi-level tunnels connect to a few smaller rooms.
Arguably the first third-party DM ever for Unreal, DMRocketArena is just that - a small arena filled with eightball guns, ammo and a couple of health packs. Period. The end. It's just you and your skill, here. Bots are smart enough to blow your brains all
