really puts the player into the mood. More info about the story can be found on the Retaliation website listed above. The story is very well done, creatively, and original. Scripting is taken to a new level with advance AI that are not the sitting ducks were used to in flashpoint. From artillery scripts, to air strike scripts, it’s all there. Let’s talk about the battles now. Some battles are really brutal with more then a hundred AI’s, friendly and foe. It’s impressive seeing the enemy rush at your in waves, trying to make a gap in your defense line, making hope for their escape. It’s even more impressive when they AI take defensive positions and act more like real soldiers instead of just rushing your position. Cut scenes are really good in this campaign. They really add to the story. They are professional with little flaws, adding a lot to the story. This is one of the few campaigns that offer voices (although in Russian with English subtitles). It is the only campaign that is greater in size then both resistance and the original flashpoint campaign put together. Perhaps because of the voices and custom sounds and music included in the campaign. Let’s talk about flaws. Although not every campaign is perfect, there are little flaws in retaliation. There are some grammar errors with the English subtitles, but that’s nothing that can stop you from fully enjoy this campaign. I recommend this campaign to every flashpoint fan out there. Don’t let the size scare you, the campaign is quality, and I’m sure if you’re a true fan of Operation Flashpoint, you will enjoy it. Dificulty: Medium to Very Hard
retreating forces. Evil rules the land again, and the civilian population lives in constant fear for their lives. The world can\'t look away any longer, its time to act again. Main Goal is the avoidance of any Collateral Damage, as the people wont forget suppression. So better look twice who you shoot at, killing unarmed civilians will drive the people to the terrorists cause. And keep your squad alive! You are send there after the principle \"One Conflict-One Squad!\" But your advanced communication and the almost unlimited air support will help to turn the tide in this conflict to your favor. But wars have thaught that a country cant be controlled only through air superiority. In this big hilly country it is better to rely on fast heli insertions and infantry tactics.
range from your simple recon to blowing up stuff and search and rescue amongst other things. I havealso used music from the 60\'s and 70\'s along with some other sounds for the atmosphere. Halfway through the campaign you get a second transfer to the island of Mekong (Meekong Delta). Here the final time of your tour of duty and the heavier missions start. This is war, no time for green stuff. You fight or die big time. Charlie owns this country. The campaign is 22 missions big.

north-western French region of Anjou. The diverse landscape of the area is proving to be an obstacle to the Allies goal of liberating the region. Our reports indicate Allied forces in the area consist of Rangers, infantrymen, armored divisions, and paratroopers. It is yet to be seen what kind of resistance the Nazi forces will put up. We will stick with this story as it develops. In the mean time, British forces are still cleaning up the war torn area around Caen, France.....
has retired from active duty to a calm desk job after the fall of the Soviet Union. This is your first mission. At the same time a platoon of reservists, going through basic military training near the border, discover unexpected military activity within a few kilometers of Finnish territory. Among them is Ville Kuusinen - a lazy, unisnspired cynic - who has managed to keep a low profile in the army for most of his life. Using the campaign function in the OFP game engine, their two story lines merge together in the Finlandsky Vokzal campaign. This is the first part (6 missions) of a cinematic campaign. Voice acting and custom SFX included. The storyline comes before action, with randomized cutscenes. Scenes of everyday life has been crafted in great detail to make the mission areas come alive. Voice acting in the Swedish, Finnish and Russian languages. Subtitles and briefings in english. Post Scriptum: Findlandsky Vokzal simply means \"The Finland Train Station\", in Russian. From a strict Soviet military point of view, Finland has always just been a stop on the way to national security.
tank must defend the beach against a large enemy assault and in some missions must do this within a certain amount of time. The concept might sound a bit limited but to make sure its fun and interesting I have added lots of things such as scoring (I got 89340 for the whole campaign - it says at the end), repair tank, special units (the AI of quite a few of the units from the original game have been scripted so as to give them a different purpose) and lots of other things, including bonus items. There are 5 missions of progressive difficulty and the only addon you need to download is BIS\' camel (WarMachine\'s Mammoth Tank is supplied).
story line and some new scripts added.
end PC is recommended for this campaign, although you can adjust viewdistance and detail level ingame, and disable smoke effects. Sidenote: There may be a sequel to this campaign.
