for cover. Several bunkers graced the hillside where Axis snipers could pick us off. This large open area is very graphics demanding so I’d have a good computer if I were you. (Mine was a p3 850 with 512 ram and a geforce2 64mb). Not too many places to go if you are the allies. I decided to switch over to the axis side so I could get a look around. After switching, I thought I was in a different map! I was in a town, a beautiful one I might add. This one wasn’t shattered into pieces. It didn’t look like a base or anything. I had to search around, but so not to give away anything I won’t say how to get back to the beach. This map is fun, and is good for a lot of people (15-20 at least). I think the idea was very original, no one else has thought of it, and it\'s quite stylish. Added rooms, cars... makes it more look like a battle. The design is amazing. Simply amazing. I like little touches like extra boxes, a broken down car in the middle of the courtyard, slightly destroyed buildings... Very stylish. The sky is well done, and I like how he\'s turned it into a night battle. It\'s dimly lit, you can see the enemy fine, but just adds nicely to make it a bit more suspenseful. Design, it\'s great. Plus on one of these it is possible to leap outside the map and fall to your death in the "white abyss" below the level. The map is very detailed with lots of buildings and the small minority of these which are accessable seem well detailed. The map is a decent size, but I couldnt access a few of the areas I could see, and it seems a bit too easy to fall off of the roofs of the houses. All in all a decent map with many bugs. An impossible cliff prevents someone from one side to reach the other so sniping and maybe rockets is all you can use. Graphically, its not much to look at. The map is small actually. The textures are simple repeating patterns. Axis on the defensive. There are two identical, and well designed bases. The objective is for the Axis to attack and destroy the 8mm cannon in the Allied base. There is some great stuff in this map, I don’t want to give anything away so I’m going to keep my mouth shut (for once in my life :-). Lotta stuff exploding which is always fun, and its all around a fun map. Its not a very big map, so anymore then 15 people would defiantly be pushing it. town. Well designed, lots of places to hide so you can blow someone’s guts out when they aren’t looking. Charming… It’s great fun for a good amount of people. two 88MM guns and a tiger tank in the village/base that the axis start in, and the axis are to defend the base. There are many defence points in the map, including some machine gun locations, making it difficult for the allies to get in. An extensive underground tunnel system makes things a little easier, but on first play this can seem a little maze like, and has a few defensive bottlenecks that can be easily held by organised axis troops. There are many buildings on the map to explore and they are all wonderfully detailed and accessable. The gate house and doors to the Tiger Tank bay can both be opened and closed, adding another nice touch to the map. There are very few bad points I can see on this map, only really that you need to know the underground before using it properly, but thats really down to the player. Reviewed by Sheepdemon
Stalingrad 3 features 2 working elevators and a triggerable radio. The objective of Stalingrad is to steal some documents and destroy a Flak 88 gun. This is a very light map, with many sniping area\'s. It has wonderful detailing, as well as some historical pictures on the walls.
jump in the back and go directly to another location. It is unfortunatly a one way trip. Along with this it has tons of special effects, such as the custom falling snow. Play it to find out more, it is definatly a 10/10 map.

This map can be a lot of fun. I could go into some buildings and find a high up window to snipe. I can walk around with my machine gun or my shotgun and go building by building. And in every conceivable way, every ounce of detailed and scenery was squeezed into this map. Now that might make it sound like this takes a lot of resources but surprisingly it didn’t. It’s a lot of fun, especially with a lot of people, its beautifully designed, and you don’t need too good of a computer to run it. How can you go wrong? holes and littered with corpses, once wonders why we are fighting over this barren territory. Anyway… It’s a fairly basic map. A pretty large one too. With a bunker for either side, a sniper tower or two, explosions everywhere, this can be great for large team play. Its pretty well balanced too. Around in the back of the town there was a body hung. Try going close to it and shooting it :-). The graveyard in back was weird. All the tombstones were completely flat, and a coffin was untextured. Axis base in the desert, and is a Objective based map, with the allies having to invade the Axis base and destroy two 80mm guns. The Axis have a bit of an easy time of it though, on an unorganised public server, the base is too easy to defend, with machine gun posts and sniper points dotting the axis base. The map has lots of details, with destroyed bildings, underground passageways and lots of indoor and outdoor locations to fight in. The axis base is full of propoganda and theres a mine field to stop people straying out of the map. The map has a few interactives (doors and alarms) and some good ambient sounds. decided to swim up, I found I couldn’t, I just jumped like if I was on land. There was no noise as I was walking through the water, it was as if the water was a simple texture that didn’t actually do anything. The plus size to this is that you can fight under the water. After finding a set of stairs and climbing out, I walked around. There were some buildings I could enter, nothing exciting. I stepped forward into the castle. It’s a nice size building, with twists and turns to take. One thing that stuck out was a latter who’s texture did not show up. Oh well. this map could have been much better than this if the right amount of time was allowed. The lack of items on the battlefield make for an easy death for someone trying to cross. are a bit mixed. This is a well-done map. The textures are beautiful and it's easy to get into. The details are wonderful; I like the downed Sherman tank near the church and the moving water. The ruined buildings are a nice view, not looking almost totally destroyed but just enough it gives some sense of war. For the texture I give an 8. This map has a lot of potential it would make a nice death match like the Stalingrad map that the game came with and it's a nice snipe map. However I suggest if your going to snipe try going into a server that is mainly sniping. Almost anywhere can another enemy show up behind you and kill you from behind. However there are lots of hiding places to snipe from so it's a bit harder for that to happen. For fun factor I give a 9. The quality of this map is stupendous. Not much to say here. Only thing I can think of is you would think that it came with the game itself. I give it a 10 on quality. Item placement wasn't bad. However the only problem with it is its somewhat crowded in areas with clutter, making it a good place to hide from a sniper but bad in a firefight when you don't know the enemy is right behind you. But this can also create an element of surprise. So I give the item placement an 8 For creativity I give it a 7. Now while it's a nicely designed map. A lot of maps are like this. You have a small town, a river and sniper areas. That's it I've seen more than 7+ of these kinds. However the quality makes up for the creativity. The balance of this map is good. However there are not enough spawn points. While its not good to have people spawn everywhere, it has that feeling that 2 or more campers at each spawn can do much damage. This mainly focuses on if you are playing in a team game. I give the balance an 8.5 The tech of this map is also good, not great but good. If you use the zoom on a sniper rifle you can notice some of the lines on the roof that show where one part stops and the other starts. Another problem is slow down. You know as if in a game you slow down a bit when turning, which is a really problem in a firefight. I give the tech another 8.5 For size and usefulness I give a 9. It's a good size in a death match for both the beginner and the pro. However it might be wise that if you snipe you need some experience. It would be good for clan practices or public servers. While the rest kept guard, the demolitions team entered the heavy water plant and destroyed the heavy water cells. 900 kg of heavy water was lost (including production losses). Afterwards the scouts remained on the mountain, while the demolitions team went on skies into Sweden. - The map is made up of a single, huge, five floor factory and a small outside area around it. - The map is rather large ( but smaller than its \"father\", obj/vemork_factory ) and you may expect not to know where the enemy is at all times, as there are many ways to aproach an enemy. - If you get bored, you can always go to the Recreation room and throw grenades into the snooker table pockets

Allies have two Sherman tanks and the Axis have two Panzer tanks. Both teams will have to play offense and defense inorder to achieve victory. The design of the map, isn't not too bad. It’s a destroyed town with a garage or two housing the tanks. Lots of places for snipers to hide and blast you. Its an average map, get it if you want something simple and easy to get used too. It doesn’t take long to learn the secrets of this map. Its not a huge map either. Ten people is plenty. gated concrete wall along the river. An old stone bridge crosses the river leading to the gates of the town. The Allies must infiltrate the town in any way possible, finding hidden entrances along the way, and rid the canyon of the German pests. They have established a rally point in a farmhouse just across the river from the town, and will push forward from there, sweeping the town clean of the Axis intruders. It will not be easy, as there is a stretch of open field between the farmhouse and town, with limited shelter on the way to the riverbanks, and then up to the town walls. Fare well Allied champions! For nothing is easy on the road to Verlassene..........

obstacle course. It reminded me of the one in America’s Army. This map is a gigantic army training course. There is everything you could think of. There are shooting ranges, practice targets, everything! A lot of jokes are mixed into here too. Some might be hard to understand because they are in French. One building has a classroom with something written over and over again on the blackboard. I think it says “I will not throw grenades at my commando”. Keep in mind my French is horrible. the sound of the explosions reminded me of the call of all the lives, fighting over this hell-hole (wouldn’t I make a great novelist?). I went out near a series of nearly destroyed buildings. Explosions were going off everywhere and I had to zigzag to avoid getting blown up myself. Now there was most defiantly missing textures and some strange things around the map. moved some of the axis spawn points to avoid spawn nading, we enhanced the ground meaning no nades or persons can fall through and we have made an invisible wall all around the map to avoid people from getting out of the map in some way. The only thing we could not improve was the FPS, I tried my best to improve it as much as possible but it will never get as close as the original Hunt. loki used only light entites for all out side and global lighting, which wasn\'t the greatest idea. so i proposed to revise the map for him. Other revisions for the map include a lot of detail refinment. not the way you would think though. if you\'re a mapper, you would know the difference between structural, and detail brushes, which is what i\'m talking about.

All the Axis need to do is take control of the hill and destroy Allied Radio room. Sounds pretty simple don't you think? Well give this a download and try it out for yourself. The map also comes with some nice extras, Sgt KIA's map comes with the finnished version of the "Maxim MG 31/32", this is packed into a separate .PK3 –file. One point is you’re not able to play Muna Hill without the custom MG. Tha map file also includes Sgt KIA's Winter War skin pack. This is well worth a download and should be very popular as well :thumbsup:

decided to release this beta version for everyone to test, and received some feedback to encourage me to finish it and give me some ideas of gameplay (basically) since the architecture is, as you can probably check 99% done. I know there will be few people testing so that is not a problem but it will be interesting to hear some suggestions and maybe some community involved to finish the project... which might be the possible solution to it. As i said, this is a beta version so there are a few known bugs, like a brush missing in the west faÃ§ade of the building and some gap in another side. The lighting and sounds add great atmosphere to the map, and with the added player skins this is a must try. There is one downside to the map, the fog effect seemed funny in some parts of the map, but really not that much of an issue. So what you reading this for? You can stay put in your fox hole or brave the oncoming enemy bullets :( The zip file comes with a sound file to add more to the realism, go give this is a test, its a must.

This is a perfect map for 5 or more players, less players will work as well, but its not that fun, trust me. Check out the screenshots for some more info.

The first room contains few trucks with lot of health packs and ammo on the ground. Then you can either go underground using a long ladder or go to another room in front of you. Underground there is a long alley with another ladder at the end that brings you to the Chapel Sistine room that contains a nice painting and stairs. Like I said the textures are pretty basics and there's not lot of place to hide. It's pretty small so I wouldn't suggest playing with more then 8 players.
