JK2 Console Commands & Moves list

jk2ccaml.zip | 771.94 KB

JK2, it\'ll show you how to get your server on gamespy, it has (probably) the most advanced scripts on the net, it has a skin editing tutorial, it shows you how to open .cfg & .pk3 files correctly, & it shows you in-game bugs that you can use to your advantage (V1.03).
Inside the zip file, you will see a file called \"Marker0077.zip\" this contains many .cfg files that have scripts and such that might be of use to you. It also contains the skinning tutorial by Raven\'s Mike Gummelt. The scripts are kinda useful and certainly extensive, I think this file might be useful for quite a few of you!

JK2 Minimizer (v2)

jk2minimizer_v2.zip | 18.24 KB

ALT-ENTER all the time when you get an instant message or email? Don\'t you hate how the game has to reload the map every time, and you have to lag for almost a good minute while it happens? Well, the solution to the dilemma lies in this small-but-powerful program. Now, you will be able to INSTANTLY minimize and restore your game, with no interruptions or delays! I cannot recommend this enough as a critical program for daily gamers. One word of warning. This works best when you run your JK2 at the same or greater screen resolution as you run Windows. While playing JK2, the utility displays your Windows desktop at the same size as your JK2 settings, so if you run JK2 smaller, you\'ll miss part of your Windows screen. I have tested this in Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows 98. It does NOT work in 98. Hopefully a new version will be released supporting 98 very soon. Otherwise, this program has become one of my new favorite mini-utilities for gaming. Get it now!
Unfortunately, the first version didn\'t work for 98 and ME users. Fortunately, Deathwish (B) gave us this version! Yep, now Windows 98 & ME users should be able to use the JK2 Minimizer just fine. If you are having problems with brightness or other issues, be sure to check the readme. He has included answers to some of those FAQs. :) ~AmosMagee

duels, # of times you\'ve killed a specific person. It does not yet tell you how many times you have been killed by someone yet. Personally I like the idea behind this, but im a little against kill trackers. Those who like to keep count of who they kill and how many times, go ahead. Its great for those bounty hunters.
It is now possible to track how many times a player has killed you. You can have your saber rapidly change colors, and you can now toggle messages on and off. MauDae has also changed the color scheme of the software. The installation is slick, and the program is easy to use. Some of the default messages have strong language, so please be warned. If you\'re into kill trackers, this is the only way to go. The EXE file has been scanned and determined free of viruses, worms or trojans. Enjoy! Astyanax

Kill Tracker 101 v1.0

kt101.zip | 569.4 KB

used in game, but that’s just me. Please report any suggestion or bugs to the author Maddog Below is a list of the main features:
Main Features: -Kill Tracker Upon killing someone in any way (Except kicking) the kill tracker will add one to it's counter and display a custom "Kill" message that you can customize. Upon kicking someone to death, the kill tracker will add one to it's counter and display a custom "Kick" message that you can customize. -Death Tracker Upon being killed by someone, the tracker will add 1 to your death count, and then display a custom "Killed" message. The same applies from above when you are kicked to death. -Duel Tracker Upon initiating a duel, you can display a custom mwssage at the beginning of the duel, and then a custom message at the end of the duel, whether you won or lost will determine what the message will be. Upon completing a duel, 1 will be added to your duel tracker and 1 will be added to your 'won' or 'lost' tracker. (ONLY if you finish a duel with someone killing someone. Otherwise it isn't counted) -EVERY message available for others to see (ie !time, !info, etc) has the ability to be modified to your liking. So perhaps if you wish to have your own color scheme, etc, you can now do that. -A button that will allow you to start up the Kill Tracker without having to run it through a program such as GameSpy Arcade or any other similar program. JK2 Player Model Import Tutorial

jediknight2tutorialhtml.zip | 2.59 MB

helps you from the very first step of setting up 3D Studio Max and your JK2 Editing tools all the way to the very end, to the point of even testing your file. There are a few links that don\'t work, but I\'m sure with a little research on your own, you can find what Michael intended you to download. After setup, he walks you through extracting assets, he explains the model and each of its parts and even goes into the little details about the facial animations. He\'s also included screenshots of the screens you\'ll be seeing in the programs you\'ll be using and he explains in further detail what each of the screens mean. He even points out the location of buttons you\'ll be using through his images. Exporting from 3D Studio Max is explained in Part 6. Michael even goes into sounds and bot files in later chapters. He doesn\'t get too detailed about shaders, but at least he tells you where to put them and links to another place where you can learn all about Q3 shaders. :) Great tutorial, Michael! ~AmosMagee

Q3 Engine Minimizer

q3e_minimizer.zip | 128.67 KB

us. This minimizer from TiM, made with the help of a bunch of others whom he gives plenty of credit to, will minimize pretty much any game that runs off the Quake 3 engine. The program is very simple. You start it, choose the game you’re playing and set the buttons you will use to minimize and maximize. Right now the program supports Quake III: Arena, Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force SP and MP, Star Trek: Elite Force II, Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast SP and MP, the Jedi Academy demo and Return to Castle Wolfenstein SP and MP. Through a little experimentation I found it also works with Jedi Academy SP. I’m sure, though, that MP will be added before too long. As far as the technical aspects go, it works really well. As soon as you press your hotkeys the screen disappears and you’ve got your desktop. There’s no waiting, which I found to be an issue with another minimizer I used once. So if you get lots of IMs or just want to pop out of the game real quick, this is probably the program for you. - Daku

Q3 Engine Minimizer 1.10

q3e_minimizer_v110.zip | 144.14 KB

those nifty tools was a nifty tool for a bunch of different games? That would be excellent. Excellence has come to us. So if you get lots of IMs or just want to pop out of the game real quick, this is probably the program for you. - Daku
So what is new in version 1.10? A few new, useful things. It now comes with Auto Game Detection. This allows the minimizer to scan for any active Quake 3-based games, and automatically minimize that game. This is a pretty useful tool, so you don’t have to manually choose the game you are playing every time you want to minimize. However, if you’re picky, you can still choose the game yourself. Another new feature is the ability to maintain your screen resolution. If you’re like me, you probably play your games at a lower resolution than that of your normal desktop usage. When you minimize, it would keep the resolution of the game, and make your desktop look ugly and sometimes even get messed up. But this new feature allows for your screen to be at your normal resolution, so that everything looks normal, and no icons get moved. :) The interface has also been optimized to take up as little system resources as possible. I’ve always loved these minimizers. But, I only play JK2 and JKA, so the minimizers for those respective games work fine for me. But if you are a Quake 3 die-hard, and you are constantly bothered by IMs or whatever else, then definitely download this! It will make your internet gaming all that much easier. :P ~Lord Griever~

Clan Manager

clan_manager.zip | 8.31 MB

hassling making a site can be. Admit it, keeping track of that roster is such a pain, and I’m sure not many of you really want to have to update your main page every time you need to keep track of a scrimmage or war. In fact, almost everyone on my roster is inactive, and I’m just too lazy to go through the hassle of figuring out who isn’t. Thankfully, we have this little utility here called Clan Manager. While it’s meant for JK2, I assure you that it works for JKA, because it is in no way directly attached to the game. It’s its own little program for installation and uninstalling (both of which are quite fast and painless), and it just hangs around for when you need it. As you can see in that screenshot, it has several incredibly easy to use tabs for filling in information. Got some notes to keep? There’s a tab for that. A member just left? Delete him off in one easy click. Get a wave of recruits? Adding them has never been easier (even those HTML’ers can’t disagree). This is probably the best clan related utility I have come across. I can’t stress how simple it is and yet how easy it is to use. My only beef with this is that if you run out of space for names (and some clans seem to have VERY long names), it didn’t seem to be “extendable” on my computer. Maybe it’s just XP being a cow, but it just wouldn’t extend. However, this is the smallest of issues, and the fact that you can abbreviate is enough to counter it. For those of you with clans, this is something you should get. Note: Installation instructions were not included in the zip. To install, decompress the files to a folder somewhere and click \"setup.exe\" in the main folder. ~Wassup1444465

BindMaP

BETA, the useful binding tool for Jedi Knight 2. BindMaP is an auto-binder, that loads previously saved binds for individual maps, allowing for custom teleports, messages, rules and regulations etc. Following are some of the key features of BindMaP. - Unlimited Binds that are abled to be saved - Silent Mode, so most messages are not seen by other players - Binds Editor, to make it easy for you to edit files without causing mistakes - Time and Date messages - Automatically loads binds on mapchange, enter game etc. - Ability to turn on / off - Automatically turn off after binds have been loaded - Stops other players from \'controlling\' BindMaP - Automatic Name detection - Simple to check for updates - Runs in system tray - Much more...
So as you can see the main purpose is for binding stuff easily, however it has many more features. I can\'t really give this much of a review, but just say that is a handy tool for JK2 players, I have made a screenshot of the interface which is pretty easy to use. One of the things that appeals to me is the \'update\' option, something that I have never seen in a JK program like this before, so certainly a thumbs up. JK2 Players be sure to check this out, the author also said that a JK3 addin could come next. -Rink
