“Coming Soon” Single Player edition is Weapon Jams and Blip markers. Space Hulk is all about Strategy and a players ability to work out the odds! In Single Player e.g. is the corridor long enough for me to clear a jam if I get one. Coop is similar e.g. is this corridor long enough for me to kill the next on coming horde. Which is harder, humm… I would say that they are about the same - the main difference is in Coop you tend to go down faster if you loose some Terminators. This is why it is called Coop, the game design was created to handle 2/3 squads of terminators versa 2 possible AI enemies Chaos Warp Spawns or of course Genestealers. You can put in some AI Terminator squads if you need the help, I built the squads on top of the normal Dawn of War AI. So they will move around and engage the enemy while you complete the mission. I would recommend playing online as well, the code has been setup so that allied squads can complete the mission objectives as well. This new Version of Space Hulk Coop : version 0.8 has some new features in it. One is of course some new maps. More cooler than that is the new Retrieve Relic Mission Type. There is a relic on the map naturally and you have to get it, once a terminator grabs it he becomes the relic holder. Then you must protect the relic holder and get him to the designated exit. If the Relic holder is killed then the enemy gets the relic and you fail the mission. The real catch is that the exit point is random. It might not be in the same place next time you play, hehe! And Cooler than that, I have added a new kill team – Enter the Necrons! Now, they looked why to cool not to have them in their. Don’t panic Necrons fans, I didn’t do a dodge job! They have their own UI and their own unique abilities. Terminator’s are more robust (as you would expect), but the Necrons have strong abilities that makes up for strength. I would be interested to hear from any Necron fans about them. I haven’t done an AI for the Necrons so you would be on your own with that one. I have also done a Necron ship interior to complete the Necron Feel.

It is not THAT unabalanced, though, so can still have fun by just playing it. Warning #2 : there are some small errors in the ReadMe, and a couple of graphical glitches in the mod. Nothing serious, though. Credits : Many thanks to Goldo_O who modeled the Landspeeder, and to Thudmeizer who took the time to build an AI just for this mod. May they both be praised. Description : DoW's Landspeeder hasn't got anything to do with WH40K's basic Landspeeder. Actually, it represents a unique Landspeeder : the one belonging to the Grand Master of the Ravenwing. This mod allows you to field closer to Codex landspeeders. The Rhino now has the possibility to be upgraded with a Storm Bolter for combat against infantry, and reinforced against damage (giving it a damage resistance a little above the landspeeder). The Razorback is a light support tank whose main role is to transport troops and deliver them in the middle of the fight. It can transport single man units (characters), scouts or Space Marines squads (available at the marines barracks) It has twin heavy bolters, efficient against infantry, that can be upgraded to lascannons or a Multi Melta(at tech level 3) It is not as resilient as the Predator and cannot sustain prolonged heavy fighting, but is cheap and quick to produce. The Vindicator is a heavy assault cannon (available at tech level 3). It has a big gun, very effective against buildings and vehicles. It is not very resistant to damage, though. Tornado Landspeeder : armed with a heavy bolter. The heavy bolter can be upgraded to multi-melta. An assault cannon or a heavy flamer can be added. Typhoon Landspeeder : armed with a heavy bolter and a missile launcher. It can fire a devastating missile volley. It cannot fire for several seconds after that, however. Damocles command tank The Damocles command tank holds ultra powerful sensors that give precious data on the battlefield conditions. It detects enemy units at a much greater range tban any other Space Marine unit, even those enemy who try to infiltrate the Marines' positions. It maintains a link with nearby tanks, giving them coordinate data allowing for an increase in precision and damage. It also sends static that blurs the enemy's machines' spirits and lower their damage to Marines tanks around the Damocles. Last, but not least, at tier 3, the Damocles can start a cartography protocol, its sensors revealing a huge portion of the battlefield for a limited time. This allows to see where the enemy units are, but also to deepstrike units very far into the enemy lines. Be warned, though : this tank is extremey fragile ! Deathwind support Drop Pod. It is much like a classical turret, but it can deep strike via Drop Pods on any visible spot on the map. They are available at the Orbital Relay. They have the same cost as classical turrets, but occupy 2 slots in support capacity. To build new units : the servitor now has one more construction option. Click on it after tier2 and you can build a new Adeptus mechanicus building, where the new units will be available (except the Deathwind turret, available at the Orbital Relay).

DoWpro is a mod based of vanilla DoW - however, we\'ve incorporated all the new WA content except IG which we\'ll include in a later release (most likely within a month). The basic premise of DoWpro shares some of the underlying prinicples of WA however, the implementation of DoWpro is drastically different. For starters it\'s based off the vanilla model of DoW with much more emphasis on counters, morale and economy. However, DoWpro is only superficially related to vanilla since it incorporates many innovations and scaling models that simply don\'t exist in vanilla OR WA. Economics are controlled and shaped through gen scaling which alters the pace and feel of DoWpro to promote better gameplay. Units also scale to promote teching - however, unlike WA where units rapidly become useless and higher tech units get spammed, units in DoWpro become more powerful and useful as you tech. It comes down to attention to detail. DoWpro has scoured through every tech, ability, research and unit to provide the most polished and deep gameplay available in DoW. Get involved - play on the ladder, get on the irc and chat, join the modding team or just spread the word. DoWpro is about the community and providing the best gameplay experience possible and everyone deserves the opportunity to try it and get involved.

to swarm te enemy. The Space marines are now very good generalists, able to adapt to the battlefeild conditions as the situation dictates, especially since they have the upgrades to keep their tactical squads alive late game. Chaos, like the Space Marines, are also now very good generalists, but have a very diffrent style of play, with all the demons and spells. The Eldar are now a race of highly specialized units, each one excelling in one task, but fall short in other tasks, like reapers in melee will die, but dominate at range. The Orks, the hardest to do, in my opinion, are a close combat mob race. Like the IG, they swarm the enemy, but, instead of mass fire power ranged combat, they are close quarter combat masses, who, when in large numbers, can dominate close combat, but still not have a good ranged army, unless you completely sacrifice all CC.

Conscripting 1 to 2 million people every 5 weeks or so, the IG have begun to retake Hive City Heldrus 1 block and 100 lifes at a time! Unfortunatly, due to the massive shellings and bombings there are almost no working factories and very little vehicles for the IG to use, making infantry their only tool besides for the extremly small amount of amoured vehicles.

tried really really hard to balence it and put in upgrades but most of the upgrades didn\'t make it because I couldn\'t figuar out how to make them work. Anyways this is mod is about imperial guard deffense! I lowered the stats of the standard guard units and sergeants, you must use some of the upgrades to make the guard squads better so they don\'t suck. Most of the buildings (IG buildings) have double their HP and 4 slots for men to be stored in (you know the gunports!). To install you must extract it to your DoW directary and then go into the file and take out the modlue file and put it into your DoW directary..via drop and drag or cut and paste. Here is a list of the changes I made. The Space marines are now very good generalists, able to adapt to the battlefeild conditions as the situation dictates, especially since they have the upgrades to keep their tactical squads alive late game. Chaos, like the Space Marines, are also now very good generalists, but have a very diffrent style of play, with all the demons and spells. The Eldar are now a race of highly specialized units, each one excelling in one task, but fall short in other tasks, like reapers in melee will die, but dominate at range. The Orks, the hardest to do, in my opinion, are a close combat mob race. Like the IG, they swarm the enemy, but, instead of mass fire power ranged combat, they are close quarter combat masses, who, when in large numbers, can dominate close combat, but still not have a good ranged army, unless you completely sacrifice all CC.

their actions in the lowest levels of various hive cities. Captain Xavier Ecilpse, son of Lord Eclipse one of the richest Merchants on Savlar commands the regiment. Xavier refuses to accept a Colonels rank, he fights for the Emperor, and believes that high rank confines a officer to more of a paper pusher than warrior. As with all Savlar Penal units, the soldiers fight for the right of war booty and to escape the toxic environment of Savlar. By the end of the Armageddon war, the 7th Chem Dogs Chimeras were full of war booty that individual soldiers could not carry. What makes the unit unique is the 1 kilometer long modified ore carrier FireStorm, Lord Eciplse did not want his son to fight but, if he could not stop him, he would aid him the best way he could. Collecting the many disgarded drop pods that littered the Armageddon battlefield, the Firestorm was modified as a Drop Pod carrier and troop transport. The 7th Chem Dogs is the only Penal Regiment with its own transport and has deep strike capabilites. Hearing of the success of Armageddon Ork Hunters, Captain Eciplse created Reaper squads, formed around the survivors of the Savlar Prison Gladiatoral Arenas that men like his father would attend and bet on. The 7th now had close combat specialist available for campaigns against the Orks, which the Imperium had designated them as Ork Specialist after their success on Armageddon.

variants. Description : DoW's Landspeeder hasn't got anything to do with WH40K's basic Landspeeder. Actually, it represents a unique Landspeeder : the one belonging to the Grand Master of the Ravenwing. This mod allows you to field closer to Codex landspeeders. The Rhino now has the possibility to be upgraded with a Storm Bolter for combat against infantry, and reinforced against damage (giving it a damage resistance a little above the landspeeder). The Razorback is a light support tank whose main role is to transport troops and deliver them in the middle of the fight. It can transport single man units (characters), scouts or Space Marines squads (available at the marines barracks) It has twin heavy bolters, efficient against infantry, that can be upgraded to lascannons or a Multi Melta(at tech level 3) It is not as resilient as the Predator and cannot sustain prolonged heavy fighting, but is cheap and quick to produce. The Vindicator is a heavy assault cannon (available at tech level 3). It has a big gun, very effective against buildings and vehicles. It is not very resistant to damage, though. Tornado Landspeeder : armed with a heavy bolter. The heavy bolter can be upgraded to multi-melta. An assault cannon or a heavy flamer can be added. Typhoon Landspeeder : armed with a heavy bolter and a missile launcher. It can fire a devastating missile volley. It cannot fire for several seconds after that, however. Damocles command tank The Damocles command tank holds ultra powerful sensors that give precious data on the battlefield conditions. It detects enemy units at a much greater range tban any other Space Marine unit, even those enemy who try to infiltrate the Marines' positions. It maintains a link with nearby tanks, giving them coordinate data allowing for an increase in precision and damage. It also sends static that blurs the enemy's machines' spirits and lower their damage to Marines tanks around the Damocles. Last, but not least, at tier 3, the Damocles can start a cartography protocol, its sensors revealing a huge portion of the battlefield for a limited time. This allows to see where the enemy units are, but also to deepstrike units very far into the enemy lines. Be warned, though : this tank is extremey fragile ! Deathwind support Drop Pod. It is much like a classical turret, but it can deep strike via Drop Pods on any visible spot on the map. They are available at the Orbital Relay. They have the same cost as classical turrets, but occupy 2 slots in support capacity. To build new units : the servitor now has one more construction option. Click on it after tier2 and you can build a new Adeptus mechanicus building, where the new units will be available (except the Deathwind turret, available at the Orbital Relay).
