the TV show, but that's cool with me. Some people may not like the slow recharge rate on the weapons, but to me it's the way it should be. Also, its a little on the slow side but remember that this ship is pre-movie era. This ship does have a high poly count, but it did not slow my system down at all, unlike another ship posted just a few days ago....
need 4 or 5 TNG strong ships to destroy this thing...if you\'re lucky. The game AI doesn\'t manage huge ships very well, so it\'s better to steer this thing yourself.
The Constitution Class (the first and second pilot versions of the Enterprise, and, of course, the production version), the Saladin Class, the Ptolemy Class (and all of its pod variants), the Daedalus Class, and the Type 1 Shuttle! Also included is a brand new model of Deep Space Station K7, based off of Greg Jein\'s model of the station seen in the DS9 episode \"Trials and Tribble-ations\", along with retextures and new hardpoints for the D7 Class Studio version and Greg Jein version included in the Klingon D-Pack. Please read the readme file! There\'s a lot more information in there, including all kinds of gritty details about the models, textures, and hardpoints, along with credits, thanks, and my contact information.

better, as the lasers have no sound effects and look too thick and the torpedoes are on the large side. That said, the standard HP is well balanced for its era and includes a stronger HP for those that feel it\'s too weak.

seen at scifimeshes. This ship is complete with spectacular animated rotating bussards, and specular maps. In addition to the fore and aft torpedo launchers, it also has port and starboard launchers to fire on both sides. This is my first ship! Enjoy!\"
BC. MY modeling skill has improved greatly, so I have built and textured this ship from scratch. It is based off of Meni's starship mesh. Enjoy!"
dish is placed this ship ROCKS! This ship has the right amount of phaser and torpedo tubes, and you can trace with your finger the shield grid lines around the ship. The shields can be lowered just a bit though. They were abile to take a lot of hits from a stock Galor class ship, and I did end up taking some minor damage. For a ship that is at lest 40 years older then the Galor, it should not have faired so well. The only bad part is that the lower forward phaser aiming indicator is off. But it is minor, and you can still tell that you have that phaser banked lined up. All in all a great ship, even if the shields are a bit on the high side. If you love the TOS Enterprise by Anduril, the same person who made this ship, then you will also love the USS Nagumo.

parties or \'prize crews\' capable of following through on successful campaigns against retreating or routed enemies. In many operations it was discovered that Starfleet vessels were held back on capturing disabled enemy vessels and largely ineffectual in taking control of enemy outpost, and therefore slow to press their advantage. To solve this problem Starfleet began developing a starship capable of filling this niche, amongst those designs proposed was the Chandley, a design that has since proved to be the most effective. Once commissioned, the Chandley class not only met the requirements of a deep space heavy combat vessel, but could also beam its sizable marine complement in less than 6 minutes, allowing for almost instant follow through. torpedo tubes. Battleships are larger, better armed and shielded than cruisers and destroyers. As the largest armed ships in a fleet, battleships are used to attain command of entire sectors of space and are a major factor in both diplomacy and military strategy. The presence of a Yamamoto-class battleship along the Klingon and Romulan Neutral zones has great psychological and diplomatic impact. The role of the Yamamoto-class is to sweep the enemy from the space, while the work of escorting, blockading and raiding might be done by cruisers or smaller vessels; the presence of the battleship is a potential threat to any convoy escorted by any vessels other than capital ships. Battleships are the largest and most complex, and hence the most expensive vessels of their time and as advances in weapons technology produce more compact and powerful systems which could be used by relatively small and inexpensive craft the value of investment in battleships is being contested within the Federation. This ship is balanced for the TOS Era and is armed with 24 Phaser turrets in twin mounts with 10 Dorsal, 10 Ventral and 4 Lateral, as well as a total of 16 Photon Tubes (with 8 forward and another 8 aft) and is very powerful for a TOS era ship which can probably taken almost everything from the TOS era and also probably a fair few ships from the TMP era as well although probably not so well against the newer ships from the TNG era however but you could always try thuogh!
significant advances in computer, life support, and power systems. Despite these innovations, a small group of military strategists still regarded these systems as being less important than weapons performance and speed as long as they performed well. However, the clearly improved systems of the Asia class were quickly adopted for military ships as well. Only one ship of the Asia class, U.S.S. America, ever suffered heavy battle damage. In 2219, she was ambushed by two Klingon D-3 cruisers and subsequently retired from service. Four starships of the Asia class were nearly completely reconstructed from 2262 to 2265.

Trafalgar NCC-1805, Perseus Class Though mostly assembled from field tested and well-established Starship components and design standards of the time, the main feature of the Perseus class was a quad nacelle configuration which was made possible by the revolutionary design of locating warp core output injectors along the engine fairings which were designed to constrict and accelerate the plasma flow coming from the warp core and increase the efficiency of the drive. In field tests it was also found that much more control over the regulation of the plasma flow was attainable which allowed for the first stable quad nacelle starship configuration. The ship was capable of sustaining Warp 8 for extended periods and was primarily used as a deep space explorer and emergency relief of colonies on the edges of Federation space. The class was also used as an interceptor to ward off hostile ships encroaching on Federation space. As such, the ship was well armed and shielded and featured two large cargo bays and repair facilities located on either side of the primary hull. Her large impulse engines were located at the rear of the primary hull, split either side of the shuttle landing deck which gave the ship improved acceleration and maneuverability.
the Classic TOS designs. Taking elements from both. Excellent level of detail on the model. I tested this ship in Quickbattle with some JJ Variants with a fleet of several Klingon D-7 Battlecruisers. The Atraiu Class handled well in game. She definitely took her hit's with the best of them. If your looking to augment either your fascination with the JJ Variants? Or add another quality TOS era ship? The Atraiu Class will make an excellent addition to your fleet.
two forward photon torpedo tubes. This ship isn't very powerful when compared to the likes of the constitution however it might have a chance against the Klingon Cruisers of the same era. Overall a fairly decent attempt at a TOS Era Cruiser, it is fairly detailed although there are some slight blurry textures but still a good TOS era ship for anyone to try out.

(no MVAM here) it is a fairly weak vessel, it has TOS style Phasers and a very limited number of torpedos so it would not stand much of a chance agianst a ship from the TNG era, or even from the Dominion Wars era. Starbase 47 (aka Vanguard Station), under the command of Captain Nassir. The ship was an Archer-class scout vessel, a long-range outrider with just fourteen personnel aboard. The ship is named for the Sagittarius constellation. The Archer-class was a type of Federation Starfleet scout vessel in service at least in the 2260s. Archer-class ships were designed to go "very far, very fast, and not be noticed." They go "to the edge of nowhere and peek behind the curtains." The ships are small and cramped (50 meters). Of the crew of 14, only the captain and first officer have their own quarters. The remainder of the crew shares 4 single-bed compartments by "hot bunking". The ship is also too small to have a turbolift system, instead crew rely on ladders to travel between decks. Archer-class ships have the ability to land. The structure aft of the deflector stows a long footpad, and two landing struts deploy from the underside of the saucer, directly behind the port and starboard hatches. Federation space and providing escort support for the larger Cruisers. Firepower is provided by two standard 2-shot photon torpedo tubes and 6 dual phaser emitters provide all-around coverage. Subsequent refits to the engine systems provided substantial improvement in engine efficiency, increasing cruise and maximum velocities at both warp and impulse speeds. She has limited crew accommodations and science facilities and does not have any shuttle bays making it necessary to maintain relatively close proximity to starbases or larger fleets. The Declaration increasingly sees frontline service and is the first choice for support of Constitution class cruisers in Starfleet battle groups and will certainly remain a valuable fleet asset for years to come. sensor systems in planetary-orbit and would carry out research on the physical, atmospheric, chemical, mineral and biological characteristics of a planetary body, gathering samples ranging from high atmospheric and sub-terrain sources. The Antares-class ships were also used by Starfleet to gather intelligence by monitoring the sub-space and intra-planetary communications as well as ship movements of different species in various parts of the Alpha Quadrant. At the time these ships were active, the mission of the ships was covert and discussion of the true mission was prohibited. The mission of the ships was publicly given as conducting research into atmospheric and communications phenomena. For these missions, the ships carried a crew of Starfleet personnel whose specialty was intercepting sub-space and planetary communications and gathering intelligence. The ships were moderately armed and not capable of long-term combat operations. technology gun destroyer; larger and more powerful than traditional destroyers capable of independent operation with the intention of conducting wartime strikes operations against enemy combatant vessels, supply convoys and stations. Offensive capabilities were improved by the addition of new Pulse Phaser Cannons and automated Photon Torpedo launch systems and are the most powerful and heavily armed destroyers ever built by the Federation. However, it is important to remember that the mission of these warships is significantly different than the traditional destroyer mission of escorting larger vessels in a fleet, convoy or battle group and defend them against smaller, short-range but powerful attackers." warship classes were built, including the Loknar. These vessels were primarily designed by Andorians, who favored a doctrine of border protection for the young Federation. All Loknar vessels were named for Federation colony provinces and cities, and many are crewed exclusively by Andorians, as part of the Blue Fleet. Over the course of the Four Years War, the Loknar became a staple of fleet action, and was upgraded several times from its original design. Mark II variants took advantage of the 60% power increase afforded by the FWE-2 warp system, as well as an increase in firepower with the outdated lasers and cannons replaced by ten FH-5 phaser banks and four FP-3 photon torpedo emplacements. The mark II increased the crew complement to 79, the cargo capacity to 280 SCU and 14,000 metric tons and also included a new binary shield generator of the FSK model. The Loknar remained in production until the late 23rd century, with older vessels continuously refit to newer standards. operated during the mid to late 23rd century. This class was built as result of war looming with the Klingon Empire and increased hostilities along the Romulan neutral zone. Starfleet Command noted that no new fleet carriers were expected to be completed in time and proposed to quickly convert some of the Constitution cruisers then under construction. Space designated for scientific equipment and additional living quarters was used for additional weapons and defensive systems and a quad warp nacelle configuration resulting in a formidable assault vessel. The Forestal class design featured a relatively narrow flight deck and hangar with a typical fighter group of about a dozen Lightning class heavy fighter-bombers and auxiliary shuttle craft. The principal virtue of this class was near-term availability, and the speed necessary to operate in the fleet-carrier task groups. of two hull sections; the saucer-shaped primary hull mounted atop the secondary hull, with two warp nacelles mounted on either side of the secondary hull, below the primary hull. Atop the primary hull was a superstructure which could support a variety of modules, such as the inclusion of a weapons platform, fitted with torpedo launchers, a high-energy sensor platform, or additional warp nacelles. These modules enabled additional mission profiles from performing various scientific roles to conducting patrol and transport duties. The role of the sensor pod equipped Hawkins-class was to carry out sector surveillance, command and control as well as communications functions for both fleet and Starbase defense forces. These vessels are also used as sensor picket ships used to increase the sensor detection range several light years around a force to protect it from surprise attack. provide Starfleet with a quickly built border patrol ship and escort destroyer for war-time fleet engagements. The design was greatly influenced by the constant threat of all out war with the Klingon empire and thus specifically built for combat operations. Maneuverability and firepower where key requirements in order to successfully engage D-6 and D-7 class battle cruisers with small task force formations. The class is equipped with minimal science facilities opting to use the space for power systems and armament. The warp nacelles were positioned to run along the lateral line of the ship providing a low profile target and allowing for 360 degree phaser coverage. She is also equipped with 4 single fire forward torpedo launcher which allows for torpedo spread capabilities. The Thunderbolt class has undergone several re-fits improving upon engine, weapons and shielding as advances in these technologies became field ready. above of the primary hull. Aside from stellar phenomenon and anomalies, the Kubrick class typically scans for M-class planets, valuable minerals and resources such as dilithium, and most importantly radio signals and subspace transmissions that typically indicate the presence of intelligent life. These findings are relayed to Starfleet Command who then dispatches a ship more suited for the specific mission. Though structurally capable, the ship is not designed for long term combat.
gap between both shows. It almost did it.... This ship does have weaker phasers and shields, but that is inline with a pre-TOS ship.Changing the torpedo name was cool, but what is up with the phaser fire arcs? They are all over the place, and half the time I have no clue what phaser is firing. Other then the lower front and port/starboard top phasers I have no clue what is shooting.
long-term deep space survey and “second contact†diplomatic missions on the frontier of known space. She is equipped with the latest sensor technology and a deflector array that can also be used as a large sensor platform. Her primary function is to serve three-year or longer semi-autonomous missions beyond contact with Starfleet. The ship has a large cargo bay for both mission cargo and trade goods. Because of the heavy armaments for a ship her size, in times of political dispute or all out war she can be outfitted as a frigate for light combat and escort duty and because of the advanced sensors she can also serve as a picket ship in larger fleet maneuvers. many of the same physical features of these ships. An efficient ship that served well, it was intended to perform the same tasks as other dual-function vessels, namely both research and defense. Even so, most of the existing Larson's in service were employed by Starfleet's Military Operations Command, with several serving in the Galaxy Exploration Command. Destroyers such as the Larson frequently were employed on patrol duty along the frontier areas. In time of war or other military emergencies, such destroyers were assigned to escort convoys or used as scouts by squadrons or small fleets. With its array of weapons, the Larson was a fine combat vessel, though not as powerful as a cruiser or larger ship. generation scout class vessel. The Vanguard class starship included many improvements over the Hermes class vessels which were lightly armed and served in a limited-role. The Vanguard ships are capable varied and long range missions due to a twin warp nacelle configuration as well as the addition of a shuttle bay and expanded cargo holds. Defense and firepower have also been improved with the latest phaser emitters and photon torpedo launchers as well as improved capacity shield generators. In addition to the traditional Reconnaissance and Astrogation missions, these improvements give the Vanguard class multi-role capabilities such as Pathfinder missions by deploying navigational aids via the shuttle bay to guide starships to un-charted space sectors and the added firepower makes her suited for Security Escort missions. The upgraded sensor pallet includes a Minefield Detection System and a Multispectral Target Acquisition Sensor to operate as an element of an integrated sector sensor network. At 150 meters in length with a cruising speed of warp 6 these ships are the first to be capable of performing extended exploration missions and are excellent vessels for conducting multidisciplinary research projects that involve large teams of scientists. She is capable of berthing up to 60 scientific personnel as well as 36 officers and crew. The working space for research includes a number of laboratories as well as a staging bay and two large storerooms for scientific equipment and supplies. The ship is also equipped with emerging offensive and defensive systems as well as advanced warp core technology allowing the ship to operate with full weapons and shielding charge without drawing from auxiliary power reserves. They are relatively fast vessels with formidable striking power and are essentially offensive in character. These ships perform primarily in a Battle Force role and are equipped with high-yield photon torpedoes and fast reload tubes in addition to standard phasers giving them additional strike capability. after 21st century cartoon character, but after Starfleet gave the project a green light, designers settled naming the new vessel type as the Beagle class. The Beagle Class was earmarked for duties such as: Medical Transport COE (corps of engineers) Research/repair ship Starfleet Diplopatic Courier and Transport. The Uss Beagle has incredible impulse speed and manoeuvrability, along with impressive Warp propulsive capabilities, as the first of the class this vessel is designed to incorporate the majority of the proposed capabilities, as such this vessel has a vast database of medical, scientific and engineering information. much of the proposed cargo space is taken up by the Database but the Uss Beagle is still able to carry out its courier duties. Armed with two type V phaser emitters and a single torpedo launcher this ship is capable of holding it\'s own in a fight thanks to it\'s excellent agility at impulse speeds, which allows it to keep the opponent within the firing arcs. Bonaventure became lost in the region of space known as the Delta Triangle, a location where a large number of mysterious disappearances of starships had been recorded since ancient times by different civilizations all over the galaxy. On stardate 5267.3, the Bonaventure was discovered in the alternate universe of Elysia along with all of the other starships lost in the Delta Triangle region over the centuries. the United Federation Of Planets. Regarded as unfit for Federation duties the three ships were stripped of major components and had their weapons systems removed, then mothballed in a Shipyard. For some 100 years the three Monitor Class hulls languished until a former Federation citizen by the name of Kara Carpenter came across the hulls. The young Kara Carpenter having spent the majority of her life in and around space saw great potential in such a heavily armoured hull. Having lived at Deneva Station with her Aunt for many years during her schooling, she began trading her labour and repair skills for the useless hull of U.S.S. Monitor XGS-01 as well as spare parts. Over several years she worked on her ship in her spare time, adding new components, replacing old and outdated systems, re-building the ship from scratch.

usually by means of sophisticated electronic eavesdropping using an extensive array of sensors and scanners and could search much farther into non-Federation held territories than other ships could. These ships carried a crew of Starfleet personnel, whose specialty was intercepting, decoding and interpretation of signals intelligence (SIGINT) and communications intelligence (COMINT). The mission of the ships was publicly given as conducting research into spacial and communications phenomena. However, the true mission was more or less an open secret and the ships were commonly referred to as \"spy ships\" and while remaining under control of Starfleet, missions were often directed by secret services. These missions were covert and discussion of the true mission was prohibited as \"classified information\". The ships usually operated close to hostile boarders and neutral zones and as such were equipped with torpedo armament and a full phaser suite. This was accomplished by moving the specialized sensor equipment to a large dome attached to a support pylon above the primary hull, allowing the retention of space allocated for armament and laboratories. In order to transmit intelligence information that had been gathered back to Starfleet for further processing and analysis, these ships could deploy sub-space communications relays in route and would then recover them upon return.
