Return To Castle Wolfenstein

Northern Hideout

Description:

The Nazis have made a hidden base in North America and the Allies are attacking. The allied players must enter the base through either the front gate, side door, or a nice underground train. After

entering the fortress the Allies must destroy three different Radio sets to claim victory. These are some tough radios too, some take extra dynamite! Can't bet that German engineering. The layout is realitively open and has plenty of paths. The unique thing about this map is the underground tunnel. It has a massive gap in the ground spanned by a single train car. The only way to cross the gap is by using the train car but I dare you to try and cross without it. Technically this map adequate. I'm loath to put down this map since the maker of this map is a friend of mine and I know how much time he put into it. There are some texture errors still lurking in this map but they are minor and don't affect the game play. Some places also kill the FPS but its not too bad. The scripting with the train car is real good though, and it was made before the 1.32 patch with better moving object support. Drill Sgt Dante P.S. This is my first real action on the site in over a month. My computer crashed and my hard drive was wiped clean. I'm back!
