think it's because of his clothes. They are so dull and drab that Desann's remark about looking like a farmer or bantha herder (or whatever he said) carried some truth. Kyle was much cooler in Dark Forces I and II, and it always seems to be because of the clothes, or perhaps because he became extremely shallow in Outcast. He had the true mercenary spirit in the earlier two games. Alec's "Darth Katarn" skin doesn't correct this problem: although the face has been given a deathly palor, the clothes, having only been recolored as far as I need to see, still have the dull look; they're just darker. Version one of "Darth Katarn" wasn't pretty in the facial area, and fortunately this has been corrected. It looks much better. However, I still would like more, as Darth Katarn still isn't menacing enough to live up to his name. The eyes could like more fiery, his face could have some regions where he's deformed in addition to looking pale, and his clothes just don't cut it. The Kyle model has the potential to look like a dark knight, and this skin doesn't create one. —Ra-Kom
