Coralskipper

Description:

Another vehicle model! Joy! Now, I have read a couple of the NJO books and have several negative feelings toward some of the authors. However, when I can see a piece of literary art transformed

in front of my eyes, I cannot help but to lend a degree of appreciation towards it. This is the Coralskipper, the basic starfighter of the Yuuzhan Vong from the New Jedi Order series. Like its creators, it is completely organic, each componet being made up of living creatures. Its armamants include two smaller beings that project high-speed balls of searing-hot plasma, and a larger, more powerful creature between them that belches larger, more destructive plasma balls. Also, another creature called a dovin basal, is used in place of shields. It operates by opening small black holes in space to suck up incoming fire. As a additional effect, the author made the shields silver-black to simulate the effect. I\'m loving it. :D The only existing bug is that the weapons will fire off at an angle whenever you are not aiming at anything, but you only _need_ to shoot at other people anyways don\'t you?
